Its most distinctive feature is the calendar mechanism: rather than relying on a conventional date wheel arrangement, it uses a mechanical processor designed to avoid invalid dates. The design specifications point to a more practical EVO than a conventional dress watch, but they are not a substitute for hands-on wear or durability testing.
What makes the perpetual calendar different?
MB&F says the calendar was developed for the brand by watchmaker Stephen McDonnell. It is fully integrated into the movement and displayed on the dial side. A mechanical processor system coordinates the calendar indications, with an inbuilt safety mechanism intended to prevent the calendar from being damaged by incorrect date changes. This is a different approach from a conventional perpetual calendar, where calendar components can be vulnerable if the wearer adjusts the date during a restricted period.
The display covers hours and minutes, day, date, month, retrograde leap year and power reserve. The leap-year indication is retrograde: its hand moves across the scale and returns, rather than making a full circular rotation.
The movement is manually wound and uses double mainspring barrels. MB&F specifies a frequency of 18,000 beats per hour (2.5 Hz), a 72-hour power reserve, 581 components and 41 jewels. The full technical specifications are in MB&F’s 2024 LM Perpetual EVO technical sheet.

What the EVO design adds
The EVO version pairs the complicated calendar with features intended to make the watch more adaptable to everyday use. MB&F describes a FlexRing annular dampener between the case and movement, designed to provide vertical and lateral shock protection. The watch also has a screw-down crown and an integrated rubber strap with a titanium folding buckle. These are construction and design specifications; they do not establish an independently tested level of impact resistance or guarantee suitability for any particular activity. MB&F’s 2024 catalogue describes the EVO features.
The 44 mm diameter and 17.5 mm thickness are substantial dimensions, especially alongside the high-relief, open dial architecture. Titanium is the specified case material, but the figures alone cannot determine how the watch will sit or feel on a particular wrist. The rubber strap is integrated rather than a standard interchangeable strap arrangement, so buyers should consider fit and strap service options with a retailer.

Dial and titanium versions
MB&F’s technical sheet identifies green and icy-blue CVD dial plates for titanium editions. Those colors distinguish the known titanium variants; do not confuse them with the zirconium versions also covered in the brand’s technical material. The specifications here concern the titanium model, including reference 07.T.GU in the regional retailer listings below.
Price: regional listings and earlier launch prices
There is no single current worldwide price established by the available listings. The Hour Glass listed reference 07.T.GU at SGD 273,000 in Singapore and MYR 907,200 in Malaysia on 7 October 2026. These are market-specific retailer figures, not currency conversions or a universal price; the retailer notes that suggested prices may change and are not contractual. Earlier prices provide context, but should not be mistaken for current offers. Monochrome Watches reported the green-dial titanium edition at CHF 152,000 / USD 176,000 / EUR 142,000, excluding tax, in its 2021 launch coverage. Its later icy-blue edition coverage, published roughly in 2024, reported CHF 168,000 / USD 198,000 / EUR 176,000, also excluding tax. The LM Perpetual EVO Titanium is most compelling to a buyer who wants an unusually engineered calendar and appreciates a highly architectural dial, while also valuing the EVO’s water-resistance and shock-protection design. Its size, complex display and high regional prices make it a specialized choice rather than a discreet, conventional perpetual calendar. The published specifications explain the construction and functions; they do not establish how comfortable it is in daily wear or how it performs under real-world impacts.
