The Vaer A3 Atlas Orange is a documented 36mm automatic watch with a vividly colored dial. But “new” should not be read as a current launch: Vaer’s founder discussed it in historical release updates, and current official collection results do not confirm that the orange A3 is in stock or available to order.
What is the Vaer A3 Atlas Orange?
It is an orange-dial version of Vaer’s A3 Atlas, a model the company’s co-founder described as a 36mm automatic. In a later founder update, Reagan Cook said he chose the A3 Atlas Orange on a jubilee strap, calling it comfortable and compact, with a “super-bright dial” that made it eye-catching. Those are Cook’s personal impressions, not the results of independent wear testing.
What did Vaer say about its release?
In a historical founder update, Vaer said the A3 Atlas Orange and A3 Tradition Black were coming out of assembly and “will be stocked and shipping next week.” That was a time-specific release update, not a present-day shipping promise. The post framed Atlas color variations as small-batch releases, but its mention of 100 serialized pieces referred to a separate Tiffany Blue example; it does not establish the orange A3’s production count.
Is the A3 Atlas Orange still available?
Current official collection results surfaced A5 Atlas models, not a confirmed A3 Atlas Orange listing. They do not establish current stock, a reissue, or a present-day price. Check Vaer’s current Atlas collection before making a purchase decision; availability can change.

What specifications are confirmed?
The founder’s description supports two A3 Orange details: a 36mm case and an automatic movement. It does not provide a complete specification sheet for this colorway, so details such as the movement caliber, water resistance, lume, crystal, and bracelet dimensions should not be inferred.
Vaer’s A5 Atlas FAQ describes a different model: the A5 is 38mm, uses a Miyota 9015 movement, accepts standard 20mm straps, and is not cross-compatible with older Vaer metal bracelets. Those A5 specifications do not establish the A3 Orange’s specifications or accessory fit. Consult Vaer’s FAQ for the A5 information, and confirm any A3-specific detail directly before relying on it.

What should buyers verify?
- Confirm that a listing is specifically for the A3 Atlas Orange, not an A5 Atlas or another A3 colorway.
- Check current price, stock status, and shipping details with the seller; historical release language is not evidence of present availability.
- Ask Vaer or the seller to confirm any specification not stated for the orange A3, including bracelet compatibility and replacement strap sizing.
- If comparing it with another watch, use verified details for both models—such as case size, movement, water resistance, legibility, strap options, price, and availability—rather than filling gaps with A5 specifications.
