The Minuteman RWB DLC is a 42 mm automatic watch with a black-coated stainless-steel case, blue sunray dial and Miyota 9015 movement. A 2017 review praised its dial depth, strap and travel case but found the minute-marker layout and small numerals less compelling. The reported 200 m water resistance is substantial, though the watch lacks the rotating bezel and prominent hour markers associated with purpose-built dive watches. Its prices in the available listings are historical or attached to a sold-out listing, not confirmed current offers.

Design and everyday usability
Blue dial and legibility
Catellier praised the blue sunray dial for its depth, but found the minute-marker grid dull and the numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9 too small. Those are the reviewer’s styling judgments rather than measured performance findings. The white markers and hands, with the red seconds-hand detail, give the dial a restrained military-inspired palette; whether the layout feels clear or busy is a matter of preference.
Case, strap and travel case
The black DLC finish gives the steel case its dark appearance, while the double-domed sapphire crystal adds a pronounced profile. The reviewer liked the strap quality and the included padded, zippered travel case. The review does not provide strap dimensions or a standardized fit assessment, so check compatibility and wrist fit before buying any used example.

Is the RWB DLC a dive watch?
The review reports a 200 m water-resistance rating and regards that as useful for water activities. It also notes that the watch lacks customary dive-watch features, including a rotating bezel and large, clear hour markers. The rating alone does not establish that a particular used watch remains water-resistant: age, service history, seals and crown condition matter. Anyone intending to swim or dive with a pre-owned unit should have its water resistance assessed by a qualified watchmaker rather than rely on the original specification.
Price and availability
| Source and date | Price information | Availability qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Monochrome Watches review, June 11, 2017 | USD 530 sale price | Historical price, not a current offer |
| CGA Company product page, retrieved October 8, 2026 | USD 515 displayed, with USD 639 struck through | Listing was marked sold out; the displayed figures do not confirm an available purchase |
The CGA listing is for the Minuteman RWB DLC finish leather strap wristwatch. The figures above should not be treated as a current market valuation. A related 2017 review of the Minuteman Darby described the RWB as sharing its package with a blue sunray dial and reported that the RWB had historically cost about USD 30 more; that comparison is context from the time, not a present-day price guide. Who might want this watch?
The RWB DLC may appeal to someone seeking a dark-finished 42 mm automatic with a blue dial, date display and a substantial stated water-resistance rating. Its main trade-offs are the reviewer’s concerns about dial legibility and styling, the leather strap rather than a dedicated dive-watch setup, and uncertainty about current availability and price. If comparing it with another watch, weigh case size and finish, dial clarity, movement functions and stated accuracy, water resistance alongside actual dive features, strap fit, and verified purchase condition.
Catellier’s overall verdict was positive despite his subjective dial criticism: “All things considered, the RWB DLC is a solid offering, and with my main gripe being a subjective opinion concerning the styling on the dial, I would encourage you to check it out if you enjoy the looks of the watch.”
