MONCEAU presents the Model 01 as a modern revival of its watchmaking identity, drawing on the brand’s 1970s designs. The original collection comprises four dial colors: Atacama Grey, Antarctic White, Icelandic Black and Riyadh Red. The brand describes the watch as a versatile sports model with a faux-integrated bracelet and a raised box crystal. Case dimensions and water resistance
MONCEAU specifies a 39 mm case made from 316L stainless steel and lists thickness as 8.4 mm, explicitly excluding the crystal. That qualification matters: Time+Tide’s launch-era review, published May 19, 2025, reports an overall thickness of 10.2 mm and a 44.7 mm lug-to-lug measurement. The thickness figures use different measurement conventions, so they should not be treated as a direct disagreement. Movement: manual winding and 42-hour reserve
The watch uses a Swiss-made, Elaboré-grade Sellita SW210-1 manual-wind movement. MONCEAU states that it provides a 42-hour power reserve and can be seen through the exhibition case back. Can you change the bracelet for a strap?
MONCEAU says the bracelet’s end links are removable, allowing the bracelet to be exchanged for a conventional strap. Its accessories collection lists Model 01 FKM rubber straps and Saffiano leather straps. The brand’s statement does not establish that generic 21 mm straps or third-party marketplace straps will fit, so confirm compatibility with MONCEAU before buying an alternative.
