What is the Oris Aquis Date Yangtze Jiangtun LE?
It is a special version of the Aquis Date, identified by Oris as reference 01 733 7789 4197-Set. The name refers to the Yangtze finless porpoise, the conservation focus Oris associates with this limited edition. What does the limited edition support?
Oris describes the watch’s mission as supporting the Changjiang Conservation Foundation in conserving the critically endangered Yangtze finless porpoise. The product page does not state a donation amount, explain the funding mechanism, give a population estimate, or document a measured result. The edition’s stated conservation purpose can therefore be described, but it should not be translated into a specific financial contribution or claimed outcome.

The listed interhorn width is 23 mm, and Oris identifies fitting rubber straps as well as a stainless-steel bracelet. That width is a useful starting point when checking alternatives, but it does not establish that every generic 23 mm strap will attach correctly. Confirm compatibility with this specific reference and its attachment system before ordering a replacement.
