Its unusual architecture is the point: this is a mechanical display piece, not a conventional dial-and-hands watch. Rebellion lists a 50-hour power reserve and 10 m water resistance; that rating is for very limited splash exposure, not swimming.
What makes the WEAP-ONE Biaxial different?
The defining feature is its layout. A visible tourbillon frame sits between two cylindrical rollers, one for hours and one for minutes. Instead of reading hands against a flat dial, the wearer reads the indications from these separate rotating displays. The slender case combines titanium with sapphire, making the mechanism and rollers part of the watch’s presentation.
Rebellion says the tourbillon frame is held between two plates and completes its gyrations on two axes in one minute. It is a flying tourbillon, so the open mechanism is central to the watch’s visual identity. The maker’s description of a tourbillon as resisting gravity should be understood as a design claim, not proof that this watch is more accurate in everyday use; no independent timing results are established here.
The Biaxial should not be confused with the earlier asymmetrical WEAP-ONE announced in 2017. That release describes a different design and mechanism details, including a detachable sapphire tube and different crown-function wording. The specifications and crown orientation below refer to the Biaxial model, using Rebellion’s current product page and 2023 brochure.

How are the time and movement operated?
The watch has two titanium crowns. On the Biaxial, the left crown sets the time and the right crown winds the hand-wound movement. The separate crowns make the operating roles easy to distinguish, but their placement is worth noting because the earlier WEAP-ONE release assigns functions differently.
The movement was developed by Concepto. Rebellion specifies a frequency of 4 Hz, or 28,800 vibrations per hour, and 39 jewels. The listed power reserve is 50 hours; the 2023 brochure describes at least 50 hours once wound. That is the manufacturer’s stated reserve, not a measured result from an independent test.

The technical table’s 26 mm × 52.85 mm figures are the more precise measurements; Rebellion’s product description rounds them. The long, narrow cylindrical form is substantially different from the proportions of a typical round wristwatch, so dimensions alone do not establish how it will sit or feel on an individual wrist.
Can you swim with a watch rated to 10 metres?
No. Rebellion lists 10 m / 1 ATM, a very limited water-resistance rating. Treat it as protection against dust and minor splashes, not as permission for swimming, showering or immersion. A numerical depth rating should not be read as a practical swimming depth guarantee.

What strap and color options are listed?
The listed strap is black textile, secured with Velcro and fitted with a black DLC titanium buckle. The cylindrical case and unusual construction make generic strap compatibility uncertain; confirm fit and replacement options with Rebellion or an authorized retailer rather than assuming a standard strap will work.
Color listings are not identical across Rebellion’s current product page and its 2023 brochure. The product page shows titanium and black DLC titanium versions with green, white and red; the brochure also names blue. Check directly with the maker for current variants and availability.

Edition, price and availability
Fondation Haute Horlogerie describes the watch as a limited edition. A Timekeepers Club article dated 28 March 2022 reported an edition of 10 pieces per colour (green or white) and an MSRP “on request.” Those are details from a dated report, not confirmation of current production quantities, current colors or today’s price. Rebellion’s site links to its shop and retailer directory, but current stock and pricing should be confirmed with the brand or an authorized retailer.
