Retter describes its case as a shell-style construction intended to conceal seams and support the thin profile. The dial is described as five pieces arranged at three heights. Those are the maker’s explanations of the design; they are distinct from the visible specifications and do not establish independent finishing or durability testing.
Retter calls the Mistral a “perfect dress-casual watch for enthusiasts,” which is the brand’s positioning rather than an independent verdict. The dimensions, winding routine and water-resistance rating provide more practical ways to judge whether it suits your use.
How thin is it, and will it fit your wrist?
Retter lists the case at 6.8 mm thick and 7.4 mm including the double-domed sapphire crystal. Use the 7.4 mm figure when comparing how the complete watch may sit beneath a cuff. The case is 38 mm across, measures 42.4 mm from lug to lug and takes a 20 mm strap.

For fit, compare both the 38 mm diameter and 42.4 mm lug-to-lug length with a watch you already wear comfortably. Wrist shape and strap adjustment affect how a watch sits, so dimensions alone cannot guarantee fit. Retter offers two strap length choices: 75/115 mm and 65/105 mm. Its listed strap is goat leather with Alcantara lining, made with Jean Rousseau. What movement is inside, and what is the power reserve?
The Mistral uses calibre 2105, a hand-wound movement based on the ETA 7001. Retter says it can be serviced by a local watchmaker and states that it regulates the calibre in-house to ±10 seconds per day. That is the brand’s stated regulation, not a guarantee of the accuracy of every individual watch over time.

Does 100 m water resistance make it a sports watch?
Retter’s current Mistral collection page states 100 m water resistance, a notably high published rating for a thin, dress-oriented design. The rating alone does not establish suitability for every activity, nor does it describe the condition of a particular watch’s seals or crown. Availability and fulfillment are not established by a displayed price. The product page still contains launch-era preorder language, including an estimated November 2024 shipment; that date is historical, not a current delivery estimate.
