Rokid AR Spatial is a real, commercially launched wearable-display system—but it does not put a literal 300-inch television on your face. The system pairs Rokid’s 75-gram Max 2 display glasses with the Station 2 computing and control unit, creating a private virtual screen that Rokid says can appear as large as 300 inches and support up to three spatial windows.
That makes it most useful as a portable personal cinema, gaming display, or multi-window monitor. It is not a shared TV, a conventional projector, or a full 6-DOF mixed-reality headset.

- Rokid Max 2: display glasses containing the miniature Micro-OLED panels and optics.
- Station 2: a handheld computing and control unit with Rokid’s spatial software environment.
- YodaOS-Master: Rokid’s Android-based spatial operating layer for window management, media, connectivity, and wearable computing.
Rokid positions the system for entertainment, gaming, travel, and portable productivity. It can connect with phones, laptops, Nintendo Switch systems, Steam Deck handhelds, and other compatible devices. Bluetooth support also allows keyboards and mice to be paired with the Station 2.
#1 Best Overall
- 3-Screen Multitasking: Rokid AR Spatial features a unique 3-screen display, allowing simultaneous use of 3 apps for boosted productivity, gaming, or immersive entertainment.Note: When connecting with Android phones, the 3-screen display is only supported via DLNA protocol (Miracast and ChromeCast connections are limited to single-screen mode).
- 4 Smart Modes + 3 Screen Sizes: Switch between Reading, Giant Screen, Sports, and Multi-Screen modes, each adjustable to Wide (16:9), Narrow (3:4), or Ultra-Wide (21:9) ratios(Some apps,e.g., File Assistant, don`t support). In Giant Screen Mode, the aspect ratio can expand up to 32:9, delivering a more immersive viewing experience for movies and videos.
- 3DoF (Three Degrees of Freedom) Functionality: Giant Screen Mode and Multi-Screen Mode support 3DoF, allowing the display to remain fixed in space without following head movements. Sports Mode and Reading Mode only support 0DoF, meaning the screen moves along with your head. (Is a versatile AR solution for work and play)
- Myopia & IPD Adjustment: Supports up to 600 degrees(currently, astigmatism is not supported). Effortlessly fine-tune the adjustment dials on top of the glasses to achieve optimal comfort and clarity, elevating your movie and gaming adventures to a new level. Users with myopia greater than 600° will need to purchase separate prescription lenses. Auto IPD adjustment (55–72mm) when paired with Station2.
- Cinematic Visuals: Max2 AR glasses boast a 50% larger Micro OLED display vs. Max, with 1920×1200 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 600 nits brightness, and 108% sRGB for vivid, lag-free visuals. (Causes enhanced immersion in movies/games)
Those are manufacturer-described use cases, not proof that the system can replace every user’s laptop, projector, or gaming monitor. The practical experience depends on the source device, software compatibility, prescription, fit, and the limits of its tracking system.
Rokid’s launch announcement describes the system as launching formally on September 1, 2025.
What “300-inch screen” means
The 300-inch figure describes an apparent virtual display size. The glasses do not contain a physical 300-inch panel, and they do not project a giant image into the room.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Instead, miniature displays and optics make the image appear to the wearer as if it were a very large screen at a distance. The result is private: people nearby cannot see the virtual image unless they use a compatible display device themselves.
That distinction matters. A real 300-inch projection system can be viewed by a roomful of people. Rokid AR Spatial cannot. Nor does a virtual 300-inch image automatically deliver the same brightness, viewing angle, color uniformity, motion performance, or shared-room experience as a physical television or projector.
The more useful comparison is with other display glasses, portable monitors, and personal projectors. Rokid’s strongest promise is not that it replaces a literal giant TV; it is that you can carry a large private screen without carrying a large physical display.
AR glasses, VR headset, or portable monitor?
Rokid AR Spatial sits closer to AR display glasses with spatial features than to a full VR headset.
The wearer can generally remain aware of the surrounding environment, unlike a fully enclosed virtual-reality headset. The main practical function is also straightforward: put a large private display in front of the user for video, games, or computer content.
It does not offer the same room-scale experience as a Meta Quest 3 or Apple Vision Pro. Rokid specifies 3-DOF tracking, meaning the system tracks rotational head movement—looking left, right, up, and down—but does not provide the full positional room tracking associated with 6-DOF mixed reality.
In other words, the “spatial” label refers primarily to virtual window placement and head tracking, not necessarily to environmental mapping, hand-aware room interaction, or virtual objects that remain anchored as you walk around a room.

Rokid’s published specifications do not establish actual battery runtime, outdoor visibility, latency, field of view, edge-to-edge sharpness, or long-session comfort. Those qualities require independent testing and can also vary with fit, source device, ambient light, and software.
How the three-screen mode works
Rokid says AR Spatial can support up to three simultaneous windows. These are software windows arranged in a spatial interface—not three separate physical displays inside the glasses.
That could be useful for placing a browser, video call, and document in separate positions while traveling or working from a small space. It may also allow a game or video to occupy the main view while other content remains available in additional windows.
However, “three screens” should not be read as a guarantee that every app can run independently, that every window can be freely resized, or that protected streaming services will behave like ordinary desktop windows. Rokid’s product page describes spatial casting and a spatial office, but does not provide a complete compatibility matrix covering every app, region, and streaming service.
What can you connect?
There are three different ways to use the system, and they should not be confused.
Native Station 2 use
In this mode, apps and content run through the Station 2 and YodaOS-Master. This is the route intended for Rokid’s spatial windows, media access, and Bluetooth keyboard-and-mouse support.
Mirroring or casting
The glasses can display content from another compatible device, such as a smartphone or laptop. The source device remains responsible for running the app while Rokid’s glasses act as the private display.
External-console use
A Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, or another compatible gaming device can remain the source of the game while the glasses provide a large private screen. Compatibility depends on the console’s output method, the cable or adapter, and the particular Rokid setup.

YodaOS-Master is not Windows or macOS
YodaOS-Master is best understood as Rokid’s spatial operating environment and browser layer. It handles spatial windows, casting, media, device connections, and supported Bluetooth peripherals.
It should not be treated as a general-purpose desktop operating system equivalent to Windows or macOS. A multi-window interface can make a small display feel more expansive, but it does not automatically provide desktop-class software, file management, peripheral support, or the same sustained keyboard-first workflow as a laptop.

The clearest use case is private entertainment. A traveler can watch a film without carrying a portable monitor, and someone sharing a room can view content without lighting up a television for everyone else.
Gaming is similarly compelling in principle. A Steam Deck or compatible console can provide the processing while the glasses supply a large personal display. The experience still depends on latency, image stability, cable management, comfort, and whether the source device supports the required video connection.
Remote workers may benefit from the virtual multi-window layout, particularly in hotels, airplanes, or other spaces where a conventional monitor is impractical. But text-heavy work places greater demands on sharpness, alignment, and comfort than watching a film. The ability to display several windows does not by itself prove that the system is suitable for an eight-hour workday.
Prescription support and fit
Rokid lists built-in adjustment from 0.00D to -6.00D, which may help many users with nearsightedness. It does not establish compatibility with every prescription.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsBuyers should confirm:
- Whether their prescription falls within the supported range.
- Whether astigmatism or farsightedness is supported.
- Whether the glasses fit over ordinary eyeglasses.
- Whether prescription inserts are available in their country.
- Whether the required lens service is included in the package or costs extra.
The system also lists software IPD adjustment from 53mm to 75mm. That range is useful, but it cannot guarantee a perfect optical fit for every face.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Comfort is still an open question
At 75 grams, the glasses are relatively light on paper. Weight alone, however, does not determine whether they are comfortable for long sessions.
Nose-pad pressure, temple pressure, ear position, lens angle, pupil alignment, heat, cable routing, and eye fatigue may matter more than the headline weight. A display that is sharp in the center can still be frustrating if the bottom or edges blur when the frame sits at the wrong angle.
Customer feedback on Rokid’s product page includes both positive comfort reports and an example of bottom-edge ghosting or blur that improved after changing the glasses’ angle. Those are individual experiences, not representative test results, but they illustrate why fit matters.
Limitations the marketing does not solve
- 3-DOF tracking: this is more limited than the 6-DOF tracking found in full mixed-reality headsets.
- Virtual, private display: the 300-inch image is not a shared television or physical projection screen.
- Source-device dependence: some experiences require the Station 2, while others require a compatible phone, laptop, handheld, or console.
- App and DRM restrictions: protected streaming apps may use fixed-size or non-resizable playback windows.
- Prescription boundaries: built-in myopia adjustment is not universal prescription support.
- Battery uncertainty: 5,000mAh describes capacity, not how many hours the system will run.
- Comfort variability: image blur, pressure, or eye fatigue may appear during longer sessions.
Rokid’s product page contains an anecdotal report that some streaming services appeared in preset sizes, possibly because of DRM. Treat that as a warning to verify the specific apps and region you use rather than as a universal compatibility result.
Price and package confusion
Price claims for this product need dates and package names. The original June 19, 2025 coverage cited a launch price of $648 for the complete kit. Rokid’s formal launch material later listed a launch promotion reducing that price to $598.
As seen on Rokid’s official product page on August 18, 2026, the AR Spatial configuration was listed at $558. That figure may change, and Rokid’s storefront also displays separate component prices and “from” pricing. Buyers should confirm exactly what is in the selected package before ordering.
The same storefront showed price signals of approximately $429 for Max 2 and $239 for Station 2. These are not interchangeable purchases:
- AR Spatial set: the complete system for buyers seeking Rokid’s spatial-computing experience.
- Max 2 alone: the display-glasses component for buyers who already have a compatible source device or want a simpler glasses-as-monitor setup.
- Station 2 alone: the computing and control hub intended to provide Rokid’s spatial software environment.
Rokid’s U.S. product page states that orders over $60 receive free standard shipping, offers 30-day returns subject to conditions, and lists a one-year limited warranty for eligible products. Non-defective return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. International buyers should also check taxes, duties, regional warranty coverage, and return logistics.
Common problems and practical checks
The image is unclear
Adjust the built-in diopter, IPD or pupil settings, nose-pad position, and viewing angle. If the image remains unclear, check prescription compatibility before assuming the hardware is defective.
The edges are blurry
Try changing the frame tilt and fit. A small change in lens angle can affect where the image appears sharp.
A streaming app is fixed-size
DRM may limit resizing or window placement. Check whether the service works through a supported browser or external source device, subject to the service’s terms and technical restrictions.
Recommended Free Tools
A laptop or console produces no image
Confirm that the USB-C port supports DisplayPort video output. HDMI-only devices may need a compatible adapter or hub.
Windows feel unstable or awkwardly positioned
Remember that 3-DOF tracking is not full room-aware 6-DOF tracking. Repositioning may be more constrained than it is on a mixed-reality headset.
You expected other people to see the screen
They will not. The virtual display is intended for the wearer.
Who should buy Rokid AR Spatial?
It makes the most sense for:
- Travelers who want a large private screen without carrying a monitor.
- Handheld-PC and console gamers.
- Movie and sports viewers who prefer personal viewing.
- Remote workers who need portable multi-window space.
- People sharing a room and wanting quiet, private entertainment.
- Users whose prescription fits Rokid’s adjustment range.
It is a poor fit for:
- Buyers who want a shared living-room display.
- People seeking room-scale VR or advanced mixed reality.
- Users who need a conventional, keyboard-first desktop workflow.
- Anyone sensitive to eye fatigue, nose pressure, or temple pressure.
- People requiring complex prescription correction.
- Buyers expecting camera, social, or AI features associated with smart glasses such as Meta’s camera-equipped products.
How it compares with the alternatives
XREAL and VITURE are relevant alternatives if the priority is a simpler glasses-as-monitor setup or a gaming-focused accessory ecosystem. Compare their tracking, display behavior, source-device support, prescription options, and whether a separate computing accessory is required. Current prices and availability should be checked directly with the vendors.
Apple Vision Pro is a much more capable mixed-reality computer, but it is substantially heavier, more expensive, and less like ordinary glasses. Meta Quest 3 offers broader immersive software and full 6-DOF VR and mixed reality, but it is bulkier and is not primarily a lightweight private-monitor product.
