The RZE Aspirare is a 44mm titanium dive watch with 300m water resistance, a Miyota 9015 automatic movement and a 53mm lug-to-lug span. In Fratello’s hands-on review published June 14, 2023, reviewer Brad Homes found its titanium construction helped it feel manageable, but said the length pushed the limits on his 17.5cm (7-inch) wrist. The prices reported in that review were launch-era preorder prices, not current offers.

Is the 44mm Aspirare too big for your wrist?
Diameter is only part of the fit question. The Aspirare’s 53mm lug-to-lug measurement is the more useful figure to compare with the flat top of your wrist: a long case can extend toward the edges even when its diameter seems reasonable. At 13mm thick, the watch is substantial, though not especially tall relative to its broad footprint.
Homes described the titanium watch as substantial but manageable. On his 17.5cm (7-inch) wrist, however, he said the 53mm length approached his personal limit. That is one reviewer’s experience, not a universal wrist-size cutoff. If possible, compare the lug-to-lug measurement with a watch that already fits you well, or try the Aspirare on before deciding.
#1 Best Overall
- DIVER-INSPIRED DESIGN — Inspired by the sea, the MDV-106B is styled after classic dive watches and delivers 200-meter water resistance at an unbeatable price point. The black resin band and stainless steel case give it a classic look, while the anti-reverse rotary bezel adds authentic dive-watch character.
- STAINLESS STEEL CASE WITH SCREW-LOCK CROWN & CASEBACK — The MDV-106B features a stainless steel case and a reliable screw-lock crown for enhanced water resistance protection. Screw-down crown and screw-lock caseback work together to keep the movement sealed and secure during water activities — a construction standard found on dive watches far above this price range.
- LARGE FLUORESCENT HANDS & INDICES FOR INSTANT READABILITY — The dial features hands and hour indices with large fluorescent areas for easy reading in low-light and underwater conditions. The clean 3-hand analog layout with date display at 3 o'clock keeps the dial uncluttered and immediately legible at a glance.
- 44MM STAINLESS STEEL CASE | 22MM LUG WIDTH | MINERAL GLASS — The case measures 44mm in diameter, 12mm in height, with a 49mm lug-to-lug length and a standard 22mm lug width — making strap upgrades effortless with a vast range of aftermarket options. Mineral glass protects the dial from everyday scratches and impacts.
- 3-YEAR BATTERY & 200M WATER RESISTANCE — Powered by an SR626SW battery with an approximate 3-year life, the case measures 49.5 × 46.3 × 12.1mm and weighs 92 grams. At 200 meters of water resistance, the Duro is versatile and suitable for all situations — whether in the water, hiking, running, or at the office.
What the hands-on review says about wearing it
The bracelet has short, angled links and tapers from 22mm at the lugs to 20mm at the clasp. Homes praised the links’ articulation and described the bracelet as comfortable; he found the clasp bulky. The clasp also has on-the-fly adjustment, which lets the wearer alter the fit without removing links.
The review describes the case, bracelet and clasp as treated with RZE’s UltraHex coating and reports the brand’s surface-hardness claim of up to approximately 1200Hv. That figure is a coating claim cited in the review, not a result of independent testing.

Interchangeable bezel and dial choices
One distinctive feature in the review is the swappable bezel assembly. Homes says both bezel options came with the package and describes changing from the black-insert bezel to a full-titanium option. The bezel is a 60-minute timing type; the ability to change its appearance gives the watch a different look without changing the case.
Fratello lists black, white and blue meteorite dial versions. Its launch-era pricing differed for the meteorite option, but those historical figures do not establish a current price or what is included with a watch offered for sale today.

How it differs from RZE’s Endeavour
The Aspirare should not be confused with RZE’s Endeavour. RZE’s official Endeavour Hunter Green page lists a 40.5mm case width and 200m water resistance. Those figures belong to that separate model, not the Aspirare. The available information is not enough for a complete current-model comparison; useful points to compare include lug-to-lug fit, thickness, movement, materials, bezel, included bracelet or strap, and current price.
What the durability claims do—and do not—establish
Homes characterized the Aspirare in 2023 as “RZE’s largest and toughest watch to date, ready to take on any challenge.” That is the reviewer’s description, not an independently verified durability finding. The review lists 300m water resistance, but the available sources do not establish regulator or standards-body certification, nor do they provide independent test results confirming the rating.
