What is the Seiko 5 Sports FTC watch?
It is a two-watch collaboration marking FTC’s 40th anniversary. Seiko says FTC was started by Kent Uehara in San Francisco in 1986; the name comes from “Family,” “Trust,” and “Commitment.” The brand’s work spans skateboarding, apparel, video, music, and art. Seiko USA also notes that FTC opened its first San Francisco shop in 1994. Seiko’s Japan announcement and Seiko USA’s collaboration page describe the partnership and watches.

When did the Seiko FTC watches come out, and where were they sold?
Seiko’s Japan announcement, dated June 17, 2026, gave July 10, 2026 as the release date in Japan and the United States. It described the models as sold only in those two countries.
