The Seiko Presage Porco Rosso SNR047J1 and SRQ033J1 were limited editions with different movements, complications and launch prices. Seiko’s 2020 Australian announcement listed them at A$8,800 and A$6,200, respectively; its German announcement listed €5,800 and €4,100. Those are historical, region-specific prices—not verified current resale values.
How much did each Porco Rosso Seiko cost at launch?
Seiko’s 2020 Australian announcement gave recommended retail prices of A$8,800 for the SNR047 and A$6,200 for the SRQ033. Its 2020 German announcement listed €5,800 and €4,100, respectively. The figures reflect different regional announcements and should not be treated as directly interchangeable or as current prices. Regional Seiko product pages also list INR 4,10,000.00 for the SNR047 in India and MYR17,800.00 for the SRQ033 in Malaysia. No current second-hand market range or live inventory is established here. The Australian announcement noted the SNR047 as sold out in that announcement’s context; that does not establish availability in every market or the SRQ033’s status.

What is the difference between SNR047J1 and SRQ033J1?
The SNR047J1 is a Spring Drive watch with a date and power-reserve display. The larger SRQ033J1 is an automatic chronograph with a date. Their launch prices reflect distinct models, not alternate versions of one watch.

How the Porco Rosso designs differ
Both watches draw on the 1992 Studio Ghibli film Porco Rosso. Seiko says the enamel-dial styling takes inspiration from the instrument panel of the Savoia S-21. On the SNR047, the red seconds hand and green power-reserve indicator add color to that layout. Seiko describes a Porco Rosso emblem on the crown, the plane’s name on the case and a Porco Rosso symbol visible through the sapphire case back. Seiko’s Porco Rosso collaboration page
The SNR047’s smaller case and power-reserve display distinguish it from the SRQ033’s broader case and chronograph counters. The choice is a matter of preferred size and function; neither model is a universal upgrade over the other.

What comes with each watch?
Seiko specifies an enamel dial, dual-curved sapphire crystal with super-clear coating, crocodile leather strap, three-fold push-button clasp and 10 bar water resistance for both references. Each also has a serial number on the case back and includes an additional crocodile strap. The Australian announcement identifies the extra strap as black for the SNR047 and red for the SRQ033. Both were presented in a special box carrying a message from director Hayao Miyazaki; Seiko does not transcribe that message on the collaboration page. Seiko Australia’s launch details
