Seiko’s SRPK09, SRPK11 and SRPK13 are three 5 Sports SKX Sports Style watches inspired by the varied colors and designs of the 1969 Seiko 5 Sports collection. Their cases, movements and core specifications are shared; the main difference is the dial and bezel treatment. Choose among a silver, orange-and-black or black colorway, all in a 42.5 mm case with 10-bar water resistance.
What the SRPK09, SRPK11 and SRPK13 have in common
Seiko announced the trio on 8 June 2023 as 1969-inspired additions to its SKX Sports Style line, with availability through Seiko boutiques and selected retailers from September 2023. The watches pair the SKX-style case—with crown protectors and a unidirectional rotating bezel—with a three-link stainless-steel bracelet. Seiko describes the inspiration as a tribute to the variety of looks and designs in the 1969 collection. Seiko’s announcement
The three references share these manufacturer-listed specifications:
- Movement: automatic Seiko 4R36, with 24 jewels and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (6 beats per second).
- Power reserve: approximately 41 hours.
- Case: stainless steel, 42.5 mm in diameter and 13.4 mm thick.
- Crystal: curved Hardlex.
- Caseback: see-through, screw-down design.
- Water resistance: 10 bar.
- Magnetic resistance: 4,800 A/m.
These are published specifications, not results from independent testing of the individual watches. Seiko’s regional SRPK11K1 product page additionally gives a 46 mm lug-to-lug measurement. The K1 suffix appears on certain market-specific listings; SRPK11 is the core reference for comparing the colorway with the other two. Seiko SRPK11K1 specifications

How the three colorways differ

The detailed color descriptions are reported in Monochrome’s comparison of the three 2023 releases; Seiko’s announcement confirms the broader silver, black and orange-and-black tribute themes.
All three use LumiBrite on the hands and applied markers, an orange central seconds hand and a framed day-date display, according to that comparison. The practical choice is therefore mostly visual: silver for a lower-key appearance, orange and black for a high-contrast dial, or black with colored accents. Their shared dimensions and hardware do not distinguish one reference from another.

Size, water resistance and intended use
At 42.5 mm across, 13.4 mm thick and 46 mm lug-to-lug, the case is substantial on paper. Wrist fit is personal, so anyone looking for a compact watch should try one on or compare a smaller-cased option rather than assume the short-sounding “SKX Style” name means it wears small.
The 10-bar rating and unidirectional bezel make these sport watches with a timing bezel, but the cited Seiko specifications do not identify them as professionally certified dive watches or give them a 200 m rating. Treat 10 bar as the stated rating; do not convert it into a different depth claim.

Price and availability depend on market and date
Seiko announced a September 2023 release through its boutiques and selected retailers. Monochrome reported a price of €350 in August 2023. On access in October 2026, Seiko Boutique Europe displayed the SRPK11K1 at €350 and marked it available online; Seiko Hungary listed it at 135,000 Ft. SRPK09, SRPK11 and SRPK13 are the 1969-inspired SKX Sports Style models. Seiko’s same announcement also covered SRPK17, a separate limited-edition recreation of the first Seiko 5 Sports watch from 1968. SRPK17 is a different historical tribute, not a fourth colorway in this trio.
