Movement and the accuracy discrepancy
The Miyota 8215 is listed with automatic winding, manual winding, hacking seconds, a date display and up to 42 hours of power reserve. The stated daily accuracy is inconsistent between Sternglas’s two product pages: the German page gives −10/+20 seconds per day, while the US English page gives −20/+40 seconds per day. Neither page explains the difference. These are manufacturer-listed figures, not a result from an independent timing test.
Size, fit and straps
The 42 mm diameter and 45 mm lug-to-lug measurement are useful starting points when assessing wrist fit; the 12 mm case height also affects how the watch sits beneath a cuff. Those dimensions alone cannot predict fit on every wrist, so compare them with a watch you already find comfortable or try the watch in person if possible.
