The key visual details are a rhodium-plated GMT hand with a red lacquered tip, a date window at 6 o’clock and a steel bracelet with fine-brushed and polished surfaces. The red-tipped GMT hand completes one rotation every 24 hours and indicates a second time zone against the fixed 24-hour scale. Read the hand’s position on that scale to distinguish morning from evening in the second zone. Why the name can cause confusion
TAG Heuer dates the Twin-Time designation to 1955, before the Carrera collection debuted in 1963. That is the brand’s account of its history, rather than an independently established history of the name. TAG Heuer’s 2025 article on the Twin-Time provides that context.

Do not confuse WDA2114.BA0043 with Carrera Twin-Time reference WBN201A.BA0640. The latter is a different 41 mm model with a blue dial, Calibre 7 Automatic GMT and a stated 42-hour power reserve; its official listing also states 100 m water resistance. Those details—and images of that blue-dial watch—do not describe the Date Twin-Time.
