The NOMOS Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer keeps local time on its main hands while showing a chosen second time zone on a separate 24-hour dial. Its city ring and pusher make the local-hour adjustment useful for travel, while the automatic DUW 3202 movement fits inside a manufacturer-listed 9.9 mm steel case. The appeal is practical: two times stay visible without turning the watch into a dense instrument dial.

How does the NOMOS Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer work?

The dial pairs three elements: an outer ring printed with 24 city codes, the central hands for local time, and a single-hand 24-hour subdial at 3 o’clock for a second location. A red marker at 12 o’clock identifies the selected local zone on the city ring. The small 24-hour display distinguishes day from night by color, so it can show home time or another reference zone at a glance. NOMOS describes the watch and its 24 city/time-zone codes on its official US overview.

Pressing the pusher at 2 o’clock advances the city disk and local hour hand together in one-hour increments. That coupling is the key travel function: the main display can be moved to the destination’s local hour while the secondary display remains available for a chosen second zone. It is not a map of every time zone at once; the ring and the 24-hour subdial work together to make the selected zone and one reference time legible.

How do you set the NOMOS Club Sport Worldtimer?

NOMOS’s instructions call for selecting the second-time location, synchronizing the displays, then setting the time. The corrector is recessed at 8 o’clock and is operated with the supplied pin.

  1. Select a city: press the pusher at 2 o’clock until the red marker on the city ring indicates the desired local zone. The local hour hand advances with the city disk.
  2. Synchronize the displays: use the supplied pin on the corrector at 8 o’clock to align the main time and 24-hour second-time display.
  3. Set the current time: pull the crown and set the main hands. Check whether it is day or night at the second location so the 24-hour display is aligned to the correct half of the day.
  4. Secure the crown: push it back in and screw it down fully. NOMOS says a visible red ring indicates that the crown is not securely screwed down; its stated water resistance is not guaranteed in that state.

The city pusher changes the local hour in whole-hour steps. The secondary display is a 24-hour reference, not a separately adjusted minute display, so the setup is about coordinating the indication with the current time rather than independently setting two full time readouts.

What do the movement and slim case add?

The technical center is NOMOS caliber DUW 3202, an automatic worldtime movement. NOMOS says the worldtime mechanism is integrated into the gear train; the official specifications list a movement height of 4.8 mm, 37 jewels and up to 42 hours of power reserve. Those are manufacturer figures, not independent measurements. The compact movement height helps explain how a worldtime complication can sit in a watch whose case is listed at 9.9 mm overall.

For reference 790.SB, NOMOS lists a 40.0 mm diameter and 48.0 mm lug-to-lug span, with a stainless-steel case and back. The domed sapphire crystal has anti-reflective coating on both sides. A 20 mm lug width and quick-change spring bars are specified for the Club Sport bracelet. These dimensions make it worth comparing the 48 mm length with your wrist and with watches you already wear; diameter alone does not determine how a watch sits. See the official 790.SB specification page for that reference’s details.

Time and Watches’ September 26, 2025 review reports hands-on use of the silver-and-blue reference 791 and describes the city selection, synchronization corrector, bracelet and 40 mm by 9.9 mm case. Those observations are attributable to that publication and sample, rather than a claim about independent testing here (Time and Watches review). Monochrome’s 2025 technical review compares the Club Sport’s movement and revised traveler module with the NOMOS Zürich Weltzeit, noting a simplified display that retains much of the function; that is a useful technical reference, not a full side-by-side test (Monochrome review).

Which Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer versions and prices are listed in the US?

NOMOS’s US overview lists the following prices. They are the manufacturer’s listed US prices observed in 2026, not a promise of future pricing; check the live product listing and selected configuration before buying.

Dial or edition Reference Listed US price
Blue 790 / 790.SB USD $5,370
Silver 791 / 791.SB USD $5,370
Reference 792 792 / 792.SB USD $5,580
Dark 793 / 793.SB USD $5,370
Edition Handelsblatt 792.S1 USD $5,580

The official overview describes four colors and specifically identifies the dark version as having an enamel black dial and additional Super-LumiNova on the city ring and home-time display. Do not assume that finish or edition status applies to other references. Prices in the 2025 Time and Watches review—€3,760 / US$4,510 on a strap and €3,940 / US$4,720 on a steel bracelet—are launch-era figures and differ from the current US overview; they should not be treated as current US prices.

Is the Club Sport neomatik Worldtimer good for travel?

Its interface is designed around a frequent traveler’s most useful pair: destination local time and a home or reference time. The one-hour pusher adjustment makes changing local time straightforward, while the 24-hour subdial preserves day/night context for the second zone. The trade-off is that setting requires a sequence involving the city pusher, supplied pin and crown rather than a single crown-only adjustment.

The case is specified for up to 10 atm water resistance, and NOMOS says it is suitable for swimming. Treat the screw-down crown as part of that protection: with the crown not fully secured, the manufacturer does not guarantee the stated resistance. For a buyer, the relevant practical checks are the wrist fit of the 40 mm case and 48 mm lug-to-lug length, whether the city-ring/24-hour interface is easier to read than a conventional GMT hand, and whether the selected reference’s bracelet or strap configuration suits the trip.

What should you compare before choosing one?

  • Time-zone operation: compare how quickly a watch adjusts local time and whether it preserves a home-time display while doing so.
  • Readability: look at city labels, 24-hour indication, day/night contrast and lume. The dark version’s official listing specifically calls out extra luminous material on the city ring and home-time display.
  • Movement and proportions: compare caliber architecture, movement height, case thickness and power reserve rather than assuming that every worldtimer fits similarly.
  • Wear and use: consider diameter, lug-to-lug span, water rating, and bracelet versus strap; confirm fit and exact reference compatibility before buying another strap.
  • Reference and price: verify dial, reference, configuration and current regional price on NOMOS’s listing. Historical review pricing is not a substitute for a current quote.
