Timex’s Halloween Peanuts Weekender pairs an orange pumpkin-themed dial with a concealed nighttime animation: pressing the crown activates Indiglo and reveals falling autumn leaves that cannot be seen in daylight. The official Timex listing identifies one version as model TW2Y12300 at $149, while a Gizmochina launch report describes a different seasonal reference, TW2Y85800, at $189 in the United States and £155 in the United Kingdom. Those identifiers, prices and specifications should be checked against the storefront before ordering.
What the Halloween Peanuts Weekender is
The watch is a 40mm Weekender-style analog quartz model built around Halloween artwork from the Peanuts collection. Timex’s current official listing for TW2Y12300 specifies a polished silver-tone, low-lead-brass case, an orange Halloween dial with full Arabic numerals, a CR2016 battery, a 20mm leather strap, mineral crystal and 50-meter water resistance.

The hidden Indiglo feature
The seasonal trick is hidden in the dial rather than printed on its surface. According to the October 15, 2026 launch report, pressing the crown turns on Indiglo and exposes a pattern of falling autumn leaves. The leaves are invisible under normal daylight, making the effect appear only when the backlight is activated.

Timex describes Indiglo as a backlight developed in the early 1990s that lets the wearer read the time in darkness with a button press. Its feature copy also says the watch combines luminescent hands with Indiglo for nighttime visibility; pressing the crown activates the light.
TW2Y12300 and TW2Y85800: do not assume they are identical
The available descriptions refer to two model numbers. They may represent regional or otherwise distinct releases, but the supplied specifications do not establish that they are the same watch. Match the reference printed on the retailer page, caseback or packaging before relying on a price or measurement.

How to identify the right pumpkin-dial watch
- Confirm the model number. Look for TW2Y12300 or TW2Y85800 in the product title, specifications and images; do not rely on a generic “Peanuts Halloween Weekender” label.
- Check the regional currency and stock. The reported prices differ by market and reference. A retailer’s current price can change, and the launch report’s Amazon mention was not independently verified for seller, stock or exact model.
- Compare the strap and artwork. The reported TW2Y85800 has a brown natural-leather strap with bat embossing, while the official TW2Y12300 description only establishes a 20mm leather strap. Confirm the dial art and strap photos for the exact reference.
- Read the water-resistance wording. If you plan to swim, use Timex’s more specific guidance rather than treating “50 meters” alone as a diving rating.
- Verify the hidden effect. Product images may show the normal orange dial but not the leaf pattern. Look for confirmation that pressing the crown activates Indiglo and reveals the autumn-leaf design.

Both descriptions specify mineral crystal, which is common on accessible everyday watches but can scratch more readily than sapphire. The 50-meter rating supports the limited use Timex states for its official listing; keep the crown secured and avoid snorkeling or diving.

Battery and maintenance
The official TW2Y12300 listing names a CR2016 battery. Battery life, replacement interval and independent durability test results were not published in the cited sources, so those figures should not be inferred from the Indiglo feature.
