The five watches in Timex’s 2026 Harry Potter collection
Timex describes the October collection as a set of five new styles that combine established Q Timex and Expedition designs with Harry Potter objects and visual references. The details are intended to reward close inspection rather than simply placing a logo on a conventional dial.

Which watch has the hidden glasses?
The Bolt Expedition Scout is the model with the most overt interactive surprise. Its seconds hand is shaped like Harry’s lightning-bolt scar. Pressing the crown activates the INDIGLO backlight, revealing Harry’s signature glasses across the dial. In normal lighting it reads as a practical, Arabic-numeral field watch; the hidden illumination supplies the character-specific reveal.

40mm Q Timex chronograph
The 40mm chronograph translates the miniature hourglass into a more elaborate wristwatch layout. Star-shaped cutouts and stacked black chronograph registers sit on a silver-tone dial, while the polished gold-tone stationary bezel carries the Time-Turner inscription. A wand-shaped second hand adds a second Harry Potter reference without changing the watch’s chronograph-focused appearance.

36mm leather-strap watch
At 36mm, the smaller Time-Turner is the least visually imposing wristwatch in the group. Its central hourglass uses silver glitter, and the star cutouts and black bidirectional bezel repeat the motif in a simpler time-only design. The black natural-leather strap gives it a dressier, more traditional presentation than the bracelet model.
48.5mm pocket watch
The pocket watch is the collection’s dedicated display piece. Opening its sculpted Time-Turner cover exposes a white dial based on Hogwarts Castle’s Clock Tower. Perlage finishing on the interior, an included single Albert chain and a Harry Potter engraving on the case back make it suited to collection display as much as occasional use.

How the Sorcerer’s Stone Q Timex stands apart
The 38mm Q Timex uses color rather than a miniature-object dial to make its reference clear. A red dial contrasts with a black IP-coated stainless-steel case and brushed bracelet. The day/date display adds everyday utility, while luminous hands and markers support low-light reading. Its exhibition case back names “The Sorcerer’s Stone,” and the wand-shaped seconds hand echoes the detail used on the larger Time-Turner chronograph.
Choosing between the five designs
- Choose the 40mm Time-Turner chronograph if chronograph sub-dials, a steel bracelet and the most mechanically styled wristwatch presentation matter most.
- Choose the 36mm Time-Turner for the smallest wristwatch and a quieter leather-strap interpretation of the hourglass.
- Choose the 48.5mm pocket watch if you want the most explicitly collectible format, a cover that opens and closes, and an Albert chain rather than a wrist strap.
- Choose the 38mm Sorcerer’s Stone Q Timex for a red-and-black design with a day/date display and bracelet construction.
- Choose the Bolt Expedition Scout for the hidden-glasses illumination, Arabic numerals and a fabric-and-leather strap suited to a field-watch look.
Prices and launch context
Timex lists the 36mm Time-Turner at $249, the 38mm Sorcerer’s Stone Q Timex at $279, and both the 40mm Time-Turner chronograph and 48.5mm Time-Turner pocket watch at $349. These are retail list prices stated by Timex for the 2026 launch, not sale prices or market-performance figures. The Bolt Expedition Scout’s price was not stated in the launch information.

The collection was made in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products. A Timex release dated 28 April 2026 placed the watches within the wider Harry Potter licensing ecosystem, which includes films, stage productions, games, retail and themed experiences.

Each design uses a discovery point: the Time-Turner inscription and hourglass forms, the Sorcerer’s Stone wording on the case back, or the glasses that appear only when the Expedition Scout’s INDIGLO is activated. Shari Fabiani, Timex Group’s chief marketing officer, said the company creates products that connect people to stories they love and described Harry Potter as a property that brings generations together through shared memories and house pride.

For collectors, that makes the choice less about a single “best” watch and more about which physical format and hidden reference match the intended use. The launch covers a compact daily watch, a bracelet chronograph, a colorful day/date model, an interactive field watch and a dedicated pocket watch, giving each design a distinct role rather than repeating one case with different graphics.
