Tissot’s product page identifies Switzerland as the country of manufacture. It also shows an India maximum retail price of ₹192,000, applicable to imports into India from 10 March 2026. That is a localized MRP, not a global price or a reliable guide to the current value of a pre-owned example; retailers may still hold stock at an earlier MRP.
How does the city-ring time display work?
Tissot describes the watch’s function as GMT and explains the display as a way to read times across locations. The selected country’s time is indicated at the bezel, while the numbers on the minute track in front of the other capitals indicate the other time zones. In practice, the city names make the display a visual reference for locations rather than a plain second-time-zone scale.

The product description does not establish that the watch has a separate, independently set local-time hand or that every city can be set independently. It is safer to assess it as the city-ring display Tissot describes, rather than assume functions beyond the published specification.
How does it wear?
Large diameter, relatively slim profile
At 43 mm across, this is a substantial watch, even though its listed thickness is 9.62 mm. The Watch Observer measured the exact reference at 51.35 mm lug-to-lug in its 2013 review. That span, as well as the diameter, matters when judging whether the watch will sit comfortably within the edges of your wrist.

WorldWatchReview’s 2013 reviewer considered the 43 mm format large for formal wear on some wrists. That is a subjective assessment, not a universal fit rule. If possible, compare the diameter and lug-to-lug measurement with a watch you already find comfortable; wrist shape and the way the strap drapes can change how a similar-sized case feels.
Dress-leaning details and strap options
The silver dial, polished-steel case and brown leather strap give the Navigator a dress-leaning look, while its city ring makes it more visually complex than a conventional dress watch. Tissot lists 22 mm lugs, so replacement straps in that width are a starting point—not a guarantee of fit. Check the strap’s end shape, thickness and buckle compatibility before ordering.

What should you know about the movement and older specifications?
Tissot currently lists a mechanical automatic COSC movement and a 50-hour power reserve for this reference. Older published figures differ: The Watch Observer reported 42 hours in 2013, while WorldWatchReview reported 46 hours and identified an ETA 2893-3. These are historical review specifications, not the figure Tissot currently publishes. The available official listing does not name a caliber, so the historical caliber identification should not be treated as a current confirmed specification.
COSC identifies the watch as a chronometer-certified model, but that designation alone does not establish a particular wearer’s real-world accuracy. The published sources cited here do not provide a current independent accuracy test for this individual watch.

Is it suitable for swimming or everyday water exposure?
The listed water resistance is 3 bar (30 m / 100 ft), a modest rating. The nominal depth figure is not a recommendation for swimming or diving, and this is not the model to choose for water sports. Its leather strap is another practical reason to keep it away from prolonged water exposure.
