There are two Tissot PRX UFO Robot Grendizer watches to distinguish: the blue-dial stainless-steel original, reference T1374071104102, released in 2024, and the later black PVD 50th Anniversary edition, reference T1374073305101. On Tissot’s U.S. pages reviewed October 7, 2026, the blue model was listed for $950; the anniversary watch was listed for $1,100 and marked sold out with no restock planned.
Which Tissot PRX Grendizer watch is the newer release?
The blue-dial PRX UFO Robot Grendizer 40mm (T1374071104102) is the original collaboration model. Tissot says it was released in 2024. The newer tribute is the PRX UFO Robot Grendizer 50th Anniversary 40mm (T1374073305101), a separate, limited-edition reference with black PVD treatment. Tissot connects the tribute to the 50th anniversary of UFO Robot Grendizer, created by Go Nagai in 1975.
That distinction matters when searching for the watch: the anniversary edition is not just the blue model in another color. Each has its own reference, design details and U.S. availability listing.

What the designs add beyond the standard PRX
Blue-dial original: T1374071104102
The stainless-steel model keeps the PRX’s blue-dial look but puts a luminescent Grendizer bust on the dial. Tissot also specifies an engraved rotor. The product page identifies the bracelet as quick-release and gives its interchangeable bracelet reference as T605046447. Verify compatibility against that exact reference before buying a replacement; the available information does not establish that every PRX strap fits.
Black 50th Anniversary: T1374073305101
The anniversary edition pairs its black PVD finish with an 18K gold Harken-style seconds hand. Tissot also describes an engraved rotor and a Spazer-inspired presentation capsule. Its 1,975-piece production run echoes the character’s 1975 creation year; the quantity is a limited-edition count, not a statement about current stock.

Shared specifications and what to check
Tissot lists both relevant references with a 40 mm case width, 10.93 mm thickness, date display, automatic movement with a Nivachron balance spring, and up to 80 hours of power reserve. “Up to” is the listed maximum reserve, not a guarantee of identical running time in every condition.
- Crystal: Both listings specify sapphire, but crystal coating and case details vary by edition. Use the relevant reference page for the exact configuration.
- Bracelet: T605046447 is the interchangeable bracelet reference listed for the blue model. The cited details do not establish that it fits the anniversary reference.
- Price and stock: Recheck Tissot’s product pages in your region before purchase, especially for the anniversary edition, whose U.S. listing was sold out on the review date.
