Introduced in launch coverage in December 2022 and January 2023, it is the smaller alternative to the range’s reported 43 mm and 44 mm models, while retaining a 500 m water-resistance rating.
Four dial colours, with different bezel and strap combinations
Launch coverage describes a dial that fades from a lighter centre to a darker outer edge. The four reported colours are blue, red, green and black. The configurations below reflect the launch-era report; references and combinations may vary by market and catalog date.

The green and red strap details, as well as these reference pairings, come from the December 2022 launch coverage; they should not be treated as a guarantee of current or worldwide availability. Tutima Japan’s December 2024 overview lists a regional selection of 6156-series references—6156-01, 6156-02, 6156-11, 6156-04 and 6156-08—rather than confirming every launch combination for all markets. Tutima Japan’s model overview gives that dated regional snapshot.
What the 40 mm case and 500 m rating mean on paper
The stainless-steel case measures 40 mm across and 12.5 mm thick, according to Monochrome Watches’ launch-era specifications and Tutima Japan’s December 2024 overview. Its construction includes brushed and polished surfaces, a screw-down caseback, a screw-in crown protected by guards, and a 2.5 mm antireflective sapphire crystal.

The published water-resistance rating is 500 m, or 50 atmospheres. Europa Star’s January 2023 article reproduces Tutima’s press-release description of the cases as tested to 50 atmospheres; that is a stated specification, not evidence of independent real-world dive testing. The bezel turns counterclockwise and has a luminous marker at 12 o’clock. Europa Star’s reproduction of Tutima’s press release also describes the 40 mm model’s dial colours.
On the dial, applied indices and baton-style hour and minute hands are treated with Super-LumiNova. The date sits at 6 o’clock, and the central seconds hand has a lollipop-style counterweight. Launch coverage specifies a red seconds hand on the green and blue versions.

Calibre 330 movement specifications
Monochrome reports that the automatic Tutima calibre 330 is based on the ETA 2824 and has 25 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), and a 38-hour power reserve. Its listed functions are central hours, minutes, hacking seconds and date. Europa Star’s January 2023 reproduction of Tutima’s release also states the 38-hour reserve. These are published specifications; the available sources do not establish hands-on performance or independent accuracy testing.

Monochrome’s 21 December 2022 launch article listed prices of USD 2,350 for steel-bracelet versions and USD 1,980 for leather-strap versions. Those are historical launch prices, not verified current worldwide prices or evidence of present stock. Tutima Japan’s December 2024 overview gives market-specific yen prices for its listed configurations, but those regional figures do not establish what the watch costs or whether it is available in other markets today.
