What the Midnight Grey Saxon One M is
Midnight Grey joined the Saxon One M family after the Steel Blue and Maroon Brown dial versions. Tutima presented the self-winding model at Baselworld 2018, using the line’s 40 mm case and its sculpted, three-dimensional pyramid form with sharply defined contours. The restrained dial has baton-shaped indices and luminous skeletonized hands and dots. Tutima’s launch announcement identifies the watch as a new Saxon One M variant.
The “M” matters: this is the 40 mm midsize version, not the 42 mm Saxon One three-hand model shown on Tutima’s broader family page. A smaller diameter may suit someone seeking a less oversized watch, but fit depends on wrist shape, lug span and personal preference. Monochrome’s contemporaneous reviewer also regarded the 40 mm case as an improvement over the preceding larger versions, an individual assessment rather than a universal fit verdict. Case, movement and functions
Tutima’s exact-variant launch specifications describe a stainless-steel case and automatic Caliber 330, with hour, minute, central seconds and date indication. The watch has a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides and a sapphire exhibition caseback. Tutima also describes the case as shock-protected and water-resistant to 10 atm. The launch material does not explain the limits of the shock protection, so it should not be treated as a specific impact rating.

Strap options and reference numbers
Tutima announced Midnight Grey with a choice of brown leather strap or stainless-steel bracelet. Monochrome lists references 6121-07 and 6121-08, but the available source details do not establish a reliable mapping between each number and its strap configuration. Confirm the reference and included bracelet or strap directly with the seller or a model-specific product listing rather than assuming the suffix identifies a particular option.
