How the Freak X tells time
There is no conventional dial and hands. Ulysse Nardin describes the display this way: “The entire movement rotates to indicate time: hours are shown by a pointer on a rotating disc, while the movement itself completes a full revolution every hour to mark the minutes.” The brand calls this a flying carousel. Where enamel fits
The manufacturer presents enamel as the decorative craft paired with the Freak mechanism, and names Donzé Cadrans as its dedicated enamelling atelier. The product page gives no model-specific production steps, so how this particular piece is enamelled, how many firings it takes or which parts are enamelled is not established here.

Don’t confuse it with the 2026 Freak X Gold
Ulysse Nardin also lists a separate Freak X Gold, reference 2322-500-2A/1A. It is a new 41 mm model with caliber UN-232 (216 parts, 27 jewels, 72-hour reserve) and a quick-release strap system. The brand says the 2026 Freak X reengineering took more than two years of development.

The Gold Enamel page states no price. Ulysse Nardin’s US Freak collection page showed $64,000 in 2026, but that figure belongs to the 41 mm Freak X Gold, not this reference. For the Gold Enamel, use the availability request on the manufacturer’s page or ask an authorized retailer for current regional pricing and remaining allocation. If you plan to change the strap, confirm compatibility with this exact reference first. The page links to suitable straps, but compatibility for 2305-270LE-3AE-BLUE/1A is not confirmed here.
