The Vario x RZE UltraHex Trench is a limited-edition collaboration watch listed in three dial versions, with a 37 mm titanium case, Miyota 82S5 automatic movement and maker-rated 10 ATM water resistance. Vario’s product pages showed all three versions as sold out when checked on October 8, 2026; stock can change. This first look is based on the manufacturers’ published information, not hands-on testing.
What is the Vario x RZE UltraHex Trench?
Vario describes the UltraHex Trench as its first collaboration with RZE, another Singapore watch brand. The product description calls it a celebration of local craftsmanship and creative synergy; that is Vario’s characterization, rather than an independent assessment. The official listings identify the collection as a limited edition of 100 pieces, but do not say whether that total covers all dial versions together or applies separately to each one.

#1 Best Overall
- VH31 SWEEP QUARTZ WITH SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL: Powered by a VH31 quartz movement, this ML07 variation delivers smooth sweep-style seconds motion with dependable, low-maintenance operation. Its high-domed sapphire crystal with clear AR coating adds strong scratch resistance and a pronounced vintage profile while supporting a clear view of the dial.
- SUPER C3 GREEN LUME FOR CLEAR READING: Super C3 luminous material is applied to key dial elements to support quick time reading after exposure to light. The green glow complements the bold Arabic numerals and 12/24-hour field layout without changing the restrained vintage character of the dial, making the display easy to follow during changing light conditions.
- 100M WATER RESISTANCE WITH PUSH-PULL CROWN: The ML07 is rated to 100M for added confidence around handwashing, rain and routine daily water exposure. Its push-pull crown allows straightforward time setting while preserving the compact case profile. Press the crown fully into place before water contact, and do not operate it while wet or submerged.
- COMPACT 36MM PROPORTIONS: The case measures 36mm in diameter without the crown, 43.75mm lug to lug and 10.1mm thick including the high-domed crystal, with an 18mm lug width. These compact dimensions give the ML07 a balanced vintage wrist presence while keeping the Arabic numerals and inner 12/24-hour scale clear and easy to read.
- SANDBLASTED 316L STEEL FIELD-WATCH DESIGN: The low-reflection case finish, compact profile and high-domed crystal give the ML07 the restrained character of a vintage field watch. Its clear dial remains practical for everyday wear, while the versatile 18mm lug width makes it easy to pair with a wide range of compatible straps.
Case size and construction
Vario lists a 37 mm case diameter, 10 mm thickness, 45 mm lug-to-lug length and 18 mm lug width. The case is specified as UltraHex titanium, with a titanium caseback. A 2 mm double-domed sapphire crystal has an inner anti-reflective coating. These are published dimensions and materials; the listing does not establish how the watch wears on a particular wrist.
Movement, lume and water resistance
The maker specifies a Miyota 82S5 automatic movement with hand-winding, hacking seconds, 21 jewels, Côtes de Genève decoration and more than 40 hours of power reserve. Vario’s carbon-fibre page prints the beat rate as “21.6kpbh,” an apparent typo; it is not repeated here as a verified technical figure. The pages also list C3/BGW9 lume and 10 ATM water resistance, plus a lumed screw-down crown. Those are manufacturer specifications, not independently tested performance claims.
Strap, packaging and purchase terms
The listings include a Crazy Horse leather strap with bund pad and a limited-edition red RZE x Toyo Tool Box. Vario also states a two-year international warranty and free worldwide express shipping. Customers are responsible for duties and taxes; the pages describe US and UK orders as tax inclusive. Shipping, tax treatment and warranty terms may depend on location, so confirm the current terms with Vario before purchase. The product listing links instructions for fitting its bund strap and operating the screw-down crown.
What the listings do not establish
The official product pages provide the published specifications and product descriptions, but they do not establish independent testing of timekeeping, comfort, lume brightness, finishing, durability or water resistance. They also do not state a launch or first-shipment date, or explain how the 100-piece edition is allocated among the three dial versions. Treat those details as unresolved rather than assuming an answer from the edition label.
