Fratello reports a 41 mm titanium case, 9.5 mm thickness and 43.5 mm lug-to-lug for the VM11 reissue. It also lists a sapphire crystal and display back. Those dimensions suggest a relatively slim profile for an automatic watch, but measurements alone cannot establish how it wears on a particular wrist.

Ventura’s manual for V-Matic watches says a fully wound V-Matic has about 40 hours of power reserve and recommends manually winding an automatic watch before first wear or after a period unused. Ventura’s campaign describes Hannes Wettstein’s original V-Matic EGO as a 1994 design and presents the 2019 project as a reintroduction. Is the Ventura V-Matic EGO worth buying?
The answer depends on the reference and the current asking price. The VM11’s appeal, based on the reported specification and history, is a distinctive 1994 design reintroduced in an automatic, date-equipped titanium watch.
