The Tissot Gentleman Powermatic 80 Silicium is a 40 mm Swiss automatic watch with a stated 80-hour power reserve. The blue-dial, steel-bracelet version is reference T127.407.11.041.00. Because the collection includes other dial and strap configurations, confirm the reference shown in the video before applying specifications to it.
Which Gentleman Powermatic 80 Silicium is in the video?
The title names a collection rather than one exact configuration. Tissot’s blue-dial model on a stainless-steel bracelet is reference T127.407.11.041.00, listed on the official Tissot product page. Check the dial and bracelet or strap in the footage against that reference. Other versions have different dial or strap configurations, so a collection name alone does not identify the watch.
A Watch Maniac video review of reference T127.407.11.041.00 was published on February 18, 2021. That date identifies the video, not a current hands-on assessment; no comfort, finishing, bracelet-feel, accuracy, or real-world performance judgment is established here.
What Tissot lists for the blue-dial steel-bracelet reference
For T127.407.11.041.00, Tissot lists a 40 mm 316L stainless-steel case, Swiss automatic movement, see-through caseback, and domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with antireflective coating. The product page states an 80-hour power reserve. These are manufacturer specifications, not independently measured results.

Tissot says the Powermatic 80 reserve is enough for the watch to continue telling time accurately if it is not worn for three days. That is the manufacturer’s description of the feature, not a guarantee of a particular measured accuracy after storage.
What “Silicium” means
“Silicium” is part of the model name; Tissot’s English product copy refers to a silicon balance spring. The company says silicon provides “far greater resistance” to magnetic fields produced by everyday objects such as phones, televisions, computers, hairdryers, radios, and magnetic handbag closures. This is Tissot’s stated benefit, not a quantified anti-magnetic rating or an independent accuracy test.

Specifications that depend on the exact version
Some useful dimensions and ratings appear on official pages for related references, but they should not automatically be assigned to the blue-dial T127.407.11.041.00. Tissot Malaysia’s page for silver-dial T127.407.11.031.00 lists 11.5 mm thickness, 21 mm lug width, and 10 bar / 100 m / 330 ft water resistance. Those figures are specific to that related listing unless confirmed for the watch in the video.
Tissot Singapore’s page for T127.407.11.051.00 describes 21 available strap variations. It is another dial reference, not evidence that every configuration has identical options or specifications. Check the live page for the exact reference and market before relying on dimensions, water resistance, compatibility, or availability.

Tissot’s analogue mechanical watches manual provides general care guidance and recommends periodic water-resistance checks through an approved service center. Follow the manual and have the watch checked rather than treating a rating listed for a related variant as confirmation of the reviewed reference’s rating.
