What happened at Watches and Wonders 2026?
The Geneva exhibition combined new-watch presentations and world premieres with craft demonstrations and education for visitors. It served both watch-industry professionals and the public, with public access during the final three days, 18–20 April. The Watches and Wonders Geneva Foundation’s official event page lists 65 participating brands and links to its novelty directory, the place to consult for a complete release inventory.

The Foundation describes its mission as promoting watchmaking through its events. Its president, Cyrille Vigneron, said in the Foundation’s 20 April closing release: “The success of Watches and Wonders Geneva shows that watchmaking can be exclusive but not excluding, inviting but not banal.” The closing release framed the edition around that mix of exclusivity and invitation.

- 900 million people reached, up 29%: the Foundation’s 20 April closing release reports this figure for the hashtag #watchesandwonders2026. It is the organizer’s reported hashtag reach, not a count of unique viewers or onsite attendees.

Chronographs and mechanical ideas
T3’s live event recap reported a new generation of TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph in blue, green and black, with a 39 mm case also offered in grade 5 titanium. It also described the Monaco Evergraph as a 40 mm chronograph with a compliant mechanism and two dial-and-case treatments. These details are T3’s event coverage; the recap does not establish exact model references.

Anniversary design and skeletonized construction
Wallpaper* described a yellow Rolesor Rolex Oyster centenary tribute with a slate dial marked “100 years” at six, green Rolex details and a crown engraved with “100.” It also highlighted the Hermès H08 Squelette as the H08 line’s first skeleton watch, in two versions using black PVD-treated titanium. These are the publication’s descriptions of event launches, rather than a comprehensive specification record. Wallpaper*’s event highlights cover both.

Limited editions, automata and watch-jewelry
Wallpaper* reported 20 new Patek Philippe creations, including four limited-edition Nautilus anniversary pieces and a debut automaton wristwatch. Its roundup also described Piaget Swinging Pebbles: three sautoir-style pieces in tiger’s eye, verdite and pietersite, linked to the maison’s 1960s watch-jewelry designs. The same coverage points to Vacheron Constantin’s Louvre collaboration and new Van Cleef & Arpels pieces, extending the selection beyond conventional wristwatch formats.

The event’s releases ranged from technical chronographs and skeletonized watches to anniversary designs and jewelry-like creations. For a closer comparison, check each model’s intended style or use, case and dial materials, complication or movement, and whether it is a regular collection watch or a limited or exceptional piece. The official novelty directory is the most appropriate starting point for a brand-by-brand inventory; event roundups are useful for an editorial selection, not a substitute for complete manufacturer specifications.
