That makes gold part of the watch’s exposed movement architecture as well as its exterior—not merely a case material. This describes the Au750’s design, not a rule about other gold watches.
Where the Au750 puts its gold
Armin Strom describes the gold as extending “from the outside in.” The case, dial details and movement bridges carry the same material through different parts of the watch. The distinction is especially visible in the calibre: its three bridges are solid gold, and their shapes and finishes are displayed rather than hidden beneath a conventional dial.

The brand describes the architecture as including finger-style construction for the barrel and balance alongside a three-quarter bridge. Through the sapphire caseback, the decorated three-quarter bridge is visible against a grey PVD-coated mainplate. The contrast is a design choice that helps the bridge’s geometry and surface work stand out; it does not establish a technical performance advantage.
Three gold surfaces, three different finishes
The gold is not treated as one uninterrupted, uniform surface. Armin Strom specifies three decorative patterns in distinct locations:

These finishes make the gold legible in different roles: as a dial surface from the front and as part of the movement’s display from the back.
How it differs from the earlier Tribute 1 Rose Gold
The most grounded comparison is with another watch in Armin Strom’s own Tribute line, not with gold watches as a whole. The 2022 Tribute 1 Rose Gold had an 18-carat rose-gold case, plus a gold-coated barrel bridge, hands and hour markers. The Au750 carries gold further into its dial and uses three solid-gold bridges. Its three specified guilloché treatments also differ from the earlier model’s azurage dial and coated barrel bridge.

Specifications and limits of what the materials establish
The Au750 is a compact manual-winding watch. Armin Strom lists a 38 mm case diameter, 9.38 mm height, 5 ATM water resistance, sapphire crystal and caseback, and a 100-hour power reserve for Calibre AMW21. The brand says it produces 97% of the calibre’s components. The strap is grey nubuck leather, with an 18K rose-gold pin buckle.
The product materials identify the case as 18K rose gold but do not publish the alloy recipe. They also provide no comparative hardness, scratch-resistance, weight or durability results. The case’s gold construction therefore supports a visual and architectural distinction, not a claim that it is tougher or otherwise technically superior to other gold watches.
Price and availability
Armin Strom’s product page displayed a price of $91,000 when accessed on 12 October 2026, while directing US customers to contact sales; that display should not be treated as a guaranteed US transaction price. Hen & Mills reported a Swiss list price of CHF 69,000 on 3 October 2026. These are market-specific figures from different sources and dates, not a currency conversion or a promise of current availability. The edition is limited to eight pieces worldwide; check with Armin Strom or an authorized retailer for current availability.
