Did Real Madrid confirm a €75 million contract?
No. Real Madrid announced on 3 June 2024 that Mbappé would join for five seasons, and its 16 July signing report confirmed he signed a five-year deal. Neither official account reviewed publishes a contract value. The €75 million figure appears in secondary coverage and should not be presented as a value confirmed by the club. Real Madrid’s announcement and signing report establish the term and event, not the financial figure.
What did Real Madrid give Mbappé at the signing?
According to the club’s 16 July 2024 account, the signing took place at Real Madrid City. After signing, Mbappé received a replica of the stadium, a watch, and a shirt bearing his name and number 9. The club did not say whether the watch it presented was the same watch identified by Time+Tide as the one Mbappé wore at the presentation.

Is the 2026 Mbappé Hublot the same watch?
No. On 14 April 2026, Hublot announced a separate model, the Big Bang Reloaded Kylian Mbappé. It is not the Square Bang reported at the 2024 signing. Hublot describes the newer watch as a 200-piece limited edition, with a 44 mm case in white ceramic and 18K King Gold, a HUB1280 Unico flyback chronograph movement, and 72 hours of power reserve.
