“Zealandic Review” is ambiguous; this review focuses on Zealandic Watches’ Iceborne automatic watch. Zealandic lists a compact 39 mm steel case, a Miyota 9039 automatic movement and 200 m water resistance. The published specification is promising on paper, but price and availability vary by model and can change, so check the exact variant before buying.
What is the Zealandic Iceborne?
The Iceborne is Zealandic Watches’ automatic watch. The brand says it is designed in New Zealand and manufactured in China. Its design story draws on New Zealand landscapes: Zealandic associates the textured dial with Tasman Glacier ice caves and names colorways for Lake Pukaki blue, pounamu green and Central Otago pinot noir. Those are the brand’s descriptions of its inspiration, not independent assessments of the dial. Zealandic’s Iceborne information describes the dial texture, floating indices, colorways and case finishing.

The case dimensions are useful for judging fit: 39 mm is the diameter, while 47 mm lug-to-lug describes the span across the wrist. Compare both figures with a watch you already find comfortable. The 20 mm lug width gives you a broad category of replacement straps to consider, but check the strap’s end shape, spring-bar fit and length rather than relying on width alone.
The Miyota figures describe the movement calibre generally, not a measured result for this particular watch. Miyota lists approximately 42 hours of running time and 28,800 vibrations per hour for the 9039 Premium Automatic. No independent accuracy result for an Iceborne sample is established here.

How does it look, and what do reviewers say?
Zealandic’s product material presents the Iceborne as a landscape-inspired design, emphasizing its stamped dial texture, floating indices, color choices and case finishing. These descriptions explain the intended aesthetic; they should not be mistaken for an independent hands-on judgment.
For outside perspectives, The Time Bum published a review in August 2024 that examined a prototype, while WatchDad published an independent review on February 27, 2026. Price and availability
Price and stock depend on the variant and the live listing. The Lake Pukaki Blue product page displayed NZD 899 and marked that model sold out when checked for this article; the official collection page showed variants from NZD 849 in August 2026. Those listings do not establish a universal current price or availability. Check the exact colorway and strap or bracelet configuration on Zealandic’s Lake Pukaki Blue listing and the broader Iceborne product information before ordering. Confirm whether taxes or duties are included for your destination.
What to check before ordering
Country of manufacture and dispatch
Zealandic says the Iceborne is designed in New Zealand and manufactured in China. Its FAQ says watches are assembled to order in batches, with a target of shipping within 7–10 days after assembly, quality control and packaging. That is a stated target, not a guaranteed delivery date. See the brand’s FAQ for its current information.

The brand states a 24-month warranty beginning at dispatch and a 14-day return period, both subject to terms and exclusions. Zealandic also says buyers outside New Zealand may be responsible for import taxes and duties. Read the live warranty and return terms and confirm the charges that apply in your country before purchase; the total landed cost may differ from the listed watch price.
Lume and strap details
The Lake Pukaki Blue product listing states BGW9 grade A lume. Zealandic’s official pages are not fully consistent in their lume wording, so treat that grade as the product listing’s claim rather than a separately verified performance assessment. The suede strap is described as having quick-release spring bars; if choosing a bracelet or a different strap, check the precise configuration and compatibility on the live listing.

Is the Zealandic Iceborne a good buy?
On published specifications, the Iceborne offers a 39 mm 316L steel case, sapphire crystal, a Miyota 9039 movement and a stated 200 m water-resistance rating. It may suit someone who wants a smaller automatic watch with a distinctly New Zealand-inspired dial. Whether it represents good value depends on the variant’s actual price and stock, how the 47 mm lug-to-lug fits your wrist, your preference for the dial and strap or bracelet, and the warranty, return and import terms that apply to you. Compare those factors with alternatives rather than using movement specifications or water-resistance claims alone as a verdict.
