For a watch with a direct James Bond connection, start with the OMEGA Seamaster: OMEGA says it first appeared on Bond’s wrist in GoldenEye in 1995. For a lower-priced automatic with a diver-style look, consider the Seiko 5 Sports SRPD61—but it is an aesthetic alternative, not an established Bond screen watch.
These examples cover two distinct kinds of appeal, not a complete price ladder. Prices below are regional manufacturer listings and can change; check the model and price available where you plan to buy.

Which watch has the strongest James Bond connection?
The OMEGA Seamaster has the clearest direct screen connection among the watches covered here. OMEGA dates its first appearance on Bond’s wrist to GoldenEye in 1995. On October 5, 2026, the brand announced six Seamaster Diver 300M timepieces: three bearing a James Bond symbol and three bearing a Spectre symbol. OMEGA’s announcement establishes the collection’s Bond tie, but check local availability and pricing for the specific reference you want.

Best lower-budget Bond-inspired pick: Seiko 5 Sports SRPD61
The SRPD61 is a reasonable choice if you want an automatic watch with a diver-style design without buying an OMEGA. Seiko’s UK product page lists it at £280 and specifies a 42.5 mm case, automatic movement, unidirectional bezel, approximately 41-hour power reserve and 10 bar water resistance. Those are manufacturer-listed specifications and a UK price, not a live offer or a claim that the watch is an official Bond model. See Seiko’s UK SRPD61 listing.
#1 Best Overall
Its useful distinction is straightforward: the look may suit someone seeking a Bond-like diver, but the cited sources do not associate the SRPD61 with Bond onscreen. If direct film provenance matters more than price or style, choose from the OMEGA Bond line instead.
How the OMEGA Bond models differ
New Bond and Spectre collection
OMEGA’s October 2026 announcement covers six Seamaster Diver 300M watches split between Bond and Spectre symbols. It is a collection announcement, so confirm the exact reference, availability and price in your region before treating any one model as the right purchase.

OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition
OMEGA’s separate 007 Edition product page describes a 42 mm titanium-case model with a titanium mesh bracelet. It also says OMEGA worked closely on development of the Bond watch with Daniel Craig and the James Bond filmmakers; that is OMEGA’s statement, not a direct quote from Craig. Do not assume these specifications apply to every Bond-related Seamaster or to all six watches announced in 2026. View OMEGA’s 007 Edition product page.
A second Seiko option: SRPD95
Seiko’s US page lists the 5 Sports SRPD95 at $350, with a 42.5 mm case, automatic movement, unidirectional bezel, approximately 41-hour power reserve and 10 bar water resistance. It is a separate model and a US listing, so its price should not be compared with the UK SRPD61 price as if the two were a like-for-like local-market quote. The cited sources do not establish an onscreen Bond connection for this model either. See Seiko’s US SRPD95 listing.

What to compare before choosing
- Bond provenance: Decide whether you want an OMEGA reference tied to the franchise or a watch chosen for a similar diver-style appearance. These are different reasons to buy.
- Total local cost: The cited Seiko prices are regional manufacturer listings, while current OMEGA pricing and local availability are not established here. Check the exact reference with a seller in your market.
- Fit and materials: Compare case diameter and material, then check bracelet or strap details for the specific reference. The SRPD61 and SRPD95 are listed at 42.5 mm; OMEGA’s 007 Edition page specifies a 42 mm titanium case and titanium mesh bracelet.
- Movement and reserve: Seiko lists automatic movements and approximately 41 hours of power reserve for both cited 5 Sports models. Do not transfer those specifications to an OMEGA model.
- Water resistance and intended use: Seiko lists 10 bar for these two models. That rating alone does not establish suitability as a professional dive watch; confirm the manufacturer’s guidance for the exact watch and use.
- Bezel: Both Seiko listings specify a unidirectional bezel. Check the individual OMEGA reference rather than assuming it shares the same specification.
The cited product pages provide manufacturer specifications, not independent comparative testing or ownership assessments.
