Brad Pitt and Breitling
As a watch guy, Pitt is currently endorsing Breitling. His partnership with the Swiss luxury brand started in 2018 when he was introduced as one of the members of the Breitling Cinema Squad. Along with Pitt are Charlize Theron and Adam Driver.
Brad Pitt was actually a personal pick by Breitling’s new CEO Georges Kern who is also a self-professed movie enthusiast. In an interview, Kern mentioned: “For 20 years I’ve wanted to work with Brad Pitt, so when I joined Breitling, I finally thought ’now is the moment!’”.
As Breitling’s ambassador, here are the timepieces from the brand that we saw on Pitt’s wrist:
Breitling Emergency
The Breitling Emergency can surely live up to its name because of its technical innovations that are surely useful in times of emergencies. For one, it has a dual-frequency transmitter that is compliant with the specifications of the Cospas-Sarsat international satellite alert system. Additionally, it is the first wristwatch that is equipped with a built-in personal locator beacon. These features are helpful to send alerts and to guide search and rescue missions.
Moreover, the timepiece is built to withstand extreme abuses with its sturdy, anti-magnetic, and corrosion-resistant titanium case. For its band, you may choose between a titanium bracelet or a rubber strap.
Brad Pitt personally owns a Breitling Emergency fitted with a rubber strap. In fact, he found it so amazing that he bought and gifted some pieces to his friends who travel frequently.
Breitling Avenger Chronograph
The Breitling Avenger Chronograph is particularly designed for airborne adventurers. It is built with extreme robustness and shock-resistance that ensures reliability for its wearer. This timepiece is powered by a Breitling Caliber 13 self-winding mechanical movement that packs approximately 48 hours of power reserve. Brad Pitt’s Watch Collection
As an actor and a watch aficionado, Pitt shared that he usually has to buy watches that he use in film sets to avoid using the fake watches that the props men typically provide. For him, having a genuine timepiece is a vital element in keeping his character in the movie. Because of this, it wouldn’t be too absurd to assume that he has an expansive watch collection. Right now, we do not know exactly how many timepieces he owns. But here are a few pieces we know for sure are part of his collection.
TAG Heuer Carrera
Aside from Breitling, Brad Pitt is also a TAG Heuer international ambassador (except in the USA and Canada). In fact, a TAG Heuer Carrera variant (shown in the photo above) was even named after him.

As with most (if not all) of his timepieces, the Nautilus is powered by a self-winding mechanical caliber 26-330 S C movement. It was said that the Nautilus was gifted to him by his now ex-wife Angelina Jolie in celebration of their engagement.
