Brad Pitt’s Watches – Celebrity Watch Collections

William Bradley Pitt, popularly known as simply Brad Pitt, is a legendary American actor and one of the most famous leading men in Hollywood. His acting career started in 1987 and since then, he has received various awards including two Golden Globe Awards and an Academy Award. Among his most famous movies are The Fight Club, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Ocean’s Eleven and its sequels, Troy, World War Z, and Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. 
Pitt is also a film producer. Among the various films he produced, two movies had won the Academy Award for Best Picture – these are The Departed and 12 Years a Slave. He also produced Moneyball, The Tree of Life, and The Big Short – all of which were nominated for Best Picture. 
Given his popularity, he is considered one of the most influential celebrities in the entertainment industry. His influence even extends to the watch industry as his watches in and outside the movies catch the attention of horologers and watch aficionados. In fact, he is a self-proclaimed “watch guy”. In one interview, he said: “I’m a watch guy! Watches are one of the few opportunities to express yourself and for me, a watch is the most steadfast symbol of what we value. It’s about quality, precision, and timeliness. I actually pride myself on always being on time.”

As a watch guy, Pitt is currently endorsing Breitling.  His partnership with the Swiss luxury brand started in 2018 when he was introduced as one of the members of the Breitling Cinema Squad. Along with Pitt are Charlize Theron and Adam Driver. 
Brad Pitt was actually a personal pick by Breitling’s new CEO Georges Kern who is also a self-professed movie enthusiast. In an interview, Kern mentioned: “For 20 years I’ve wanted to work with Brad Pitt, so when I joined Breitling, I finally thought ’now is the moment!’”.

The Breitling Premier Norton Edition Chronograph is a 42mm stainless steel watch equipped with a self-winding mechanical Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01 movement. It has a classic look with the Arabic numeral hour markers and vintage-looking chronograph subdials. At 6 o’clock is a date window. Brad Pitt’s Watch Collection  

As an actor and a watch aficionado, Pitt shared that he usually has to buy watches that he use in film sets to avoid using the fake watches that the props men typically provide. For him, having a genuine timepiece is a vital element in keeping his character in the movie. Because of this, it wouldn’t be too absurd to assume that he has an expansive watch collection. Right now, we do not know exactly how many timepieces he owns. But here are a few pieces we know for sure are part of his collection.

Aside from Breitling, Brad Pitt is also a TAG Heuer international ambassador (except in the USA and Canada). In fact, a TAG Heuer Carrera variant (shown in the photo above) was even named after him. 
The TAG Heuer Carrera Brad Pitt Edition (CV201AG.BA0725) is a 41mm stainless steel watch with an anti-reflective sapphire dial window and is powered by an automatic mechanical movement. Patek Philippe Nautilus

On more than one occasion, Pitt was seen wearing the Patek Philippe Nautilus. It is also quite distinctive with its rounded octagonal bezel, a black-blue horizontally embossed dial, and a stainless steel bracelet. As with most (if not all) of his timepieces, the Nautilus is powered by a self-winding mechanical caliber 26-330 S C movement. Pitt was also frequently seen wearing Rolex The President; once was during the premiere of the Inglorious Basterds (as seen in the photo).  
The timepiece is easily distinguishable with its day window at 12 o’clock and the magnified date window at 3 o’clock. It is an 18k yellow-gold watch with a fluted bezel and a black dial. Its movement is a mechanical Rolex caliber 3156 with a power reserve of approximately 48 hours.
