Thomas Van Straaten’s May 23, 2024 hands-on article covers three distinct Raymond Weil Millesime watches: a compact 35 mm center-seconds automatic, a 39.5 mm Moon Phase, and a green-dial Automatic Small Seconds on a steel bracelet. They differ in case size, display, and wearing configuration; the prices quoted below are historical 2024 figures, not current quotes or confirmation of stock.
How the three Millesime watches differ
| Model | Case and length | Display and movement | Dial and wearing configuration | Water resistance | Price reported in 2024 |

These figures come from the 2024 article and do not establish today’s exact-reference pricing or availability. Raymond Weil’s official Canadian listing for a separate 35 mm silver-dial Moon Phase, reference 2145-PC5-05650, showed CA$3,375 when accessed October 8, 2026; that regional listing is not the 39.5 mm watch in Fratello’s comparison. Raymond Weil’s Canadian product listing and the brand’s 2024 Moon Phase press release concern the broader family, not a confirmed current price for the featured 39.5 mm model.

35 mm center-seconds automatic: the smallest option
The 35 mm automatic is the smallest of the three and the only one in this comparison with center seconds. Van Straaten reports a case just under 10 mm thick, a 42 mm lug-to-lug measurement, 50 m water resistance, and a 41-hour reserve from the RW4200 movement, which he describes as based on the Sellita SW200 family. The dial is multi-textured and sector-style, with luminous hour and minute hands.
The reviewer’s favorite was this smaller model: he felt its proportions allowed the dial design to work especially well at 35 mm. That is his personal assessment, not a universal fit judgment. The reported €1,695 price is the figure in the May 2024 article, rather than a current retail quote. Read Van Straaten’s hands-on article.

#1 Best Overall
- Raymond Weil Millesime Automatic Anthracite Dial Men's Watch 2925-ST-60001
39.5 mm Moon Phase: an added display at six
The Moon Phase retains the 39.5 mm case used by the original Millesime size described in the article. Van Straaten gives its thickness as just over 10 mm and its length as 46 mm. Its RW4280 movement is described as part of the Sellita 200 family, and the moon-phase display sits at six o’clock. Fratello’s 2024 article quotes €2,295 for this watch.
Raymond Weil’s 2024 press materials describe the Moon Phase family as using the automatic RW4280 with a 41-hour reserve, but include multiple case and dial configurations. That family-level specification should not be mistaken for a measurement of every variant. Likewise, the official Canadian 35 mm silver-dial listing is a different reference, not proof of the 39.5 mm model’s current price or availability.

Green Automatic Small Seconds: bracelet and dial are the distinction
The third watch pairs a green lacquered dial with a five-row stainless-steel bracelet. The bracelet has female end links and a double-push-button butterfly clasp. Van Straaten says those end links keep the overall length to 46 mm, and notes that the bracelet has neither quick release nor micro-adjustment.
The reviewer viewed the bracelet as a more versatile wearing option, while also pointing out its limited adjustment. He found the green dial versatile but personally would have preferred less yellow in its color. These are individual impressions; the article does not provide a price for this version.

What “evolved design” means in this collection
Van Straaten characterizes Raymond Weil’s approach as “evolved design”: “It takes a historical concept as a starting point and then asks what it would look like if it were drawn today.” He sees the Millesime as classical rather than a direct vintage reissue, citing details such as the faceted case, non-blued hands, white lume, and clean sector-dial design. Those descriptions and the interpretation behind them belong to the reviewer.
Quick Recap
What the article does—and does not—establish
- The three watches have different functions and wearing formats: center seconds on the smallest model, a moon phase at six on the 39.5 mm watch, and small seconds with a green dial on the bracelet model.
- The reviewer reports no standardized timing test, independent accuracy measurement, or universal fit assessment. His preferences should be read as personal observations, not performance results or consensus.
- The September availability mentioned in the May 2024 article referred to the expected 2024 launch window. It does not describe present inventory.
- The reviewed official product listing is for a separate 35 mm silver-dial Moon Phase. Current exact-reference price and availability for all three watches discussed by Fratello are not established here; check the precise reference and market with Raymond Weil or a retailer.
