On a GA-110 that still uses the documented Casio 5146/5425 module and controls, set the digital time in Timekeeping Mode; the analog hands should synchronize automatically. If the digital time is correct but the hands point incorrectly, use Hand Home Position Correction. Because “modified” can mean anything from a cosmetic change to altered movement or controls, confirm the module and button behavior before following these steps.
Confirm the watch matches this procedure
The instructions below follow Casio’s Operation Guide 5146/5425, which covers the documented setting and hand-correction sequence. Casio’s GA-110 video tutorials also list tutorials for time/date setting and hand home-position correction.

Set the digital time and date
Use this procedure if the digital display is wrong. Set the Home City first, since it determines the relevant time-zone setting.

- Enter Timekeeping Mode.
- Hold A for about three seconds, until the selected city code flashes in the upper digital display.
- Choose the correct Home City with D to move east or B to move west.
- Press C to cycle through the settings. When the field you want flashes, use D or B to change it. For hours and minutes, D increases the value and B decreases it. The settings include DST, 12/24-hour format, seconds, year, month, and day.
- Press A to exit. The analog time is normally synchronized with the digital time when you change it.
Calibrate hands that do not match the digital time
Use Hand Home Position Correction only after the digital time is correct and the analog hands remain displaced. Casio notes that strong magnetism or impact can throw off the speed, hour, or minute hands; those are possible causes, not a diagnosis of a particular watch.
- In Timekeeping Mode, hold D for about three seconds, until Sub flashes in the lower digital display.
- Check the speed hand. Its reference position is 50, at 9 o’clock. If it is not there, press D to move it clockwise until it points to 50.
- Press C to move to the hour- and minute-hand adjustment.
- The hour and minute hands’ reference position is 12 o’clock. If needed, press D to move clockwise or B to move counterclockwise until both point to 12.
- Press A to return to regular timekeeping. The hour and minute hands move to the current Timekeeping Mode time, and the speed hand moves to 0.
Understand the calibration reference
The 12 o’clock position is a calibration reference, not the time the watch is supposed to display. Set the hands to their reference positions while in the adjustment screen, then exit with A; the watch will move them to the current time. Do not treat their appearance in the adjustment screen as the final time setting.

Choose the right fix
- Digital and analog displays are both wrong: correct the Home City and digital time/date in Timekeeping Mode first.
- Digital time is right, but the hands are displaced: use Hand Home Position Correction.
- The sequence or display does not match: stop rather than applying button presses by guesswork. The documented procedure may not fit a watch whose movement or controls were altered; check its specific documentation or ask a watch technician.
