The source is model 5159BA, which Audemars Piguet says launched in 1960. The original had a 27.5 mm asymmetrical rectangular case in yellow gold and was reportedly made in seven examples. The [RE]Master02 is not a same-size reproduction: at 41 mm, it is a substantially larger modern interpretation in a different gold alloy.

The dial is named Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50. It is built from twelve individually machined brass triangles, each with linear satin finishing, separated by sand-gold partitions. The segmented layout echoes the case’s angular character rather than presenting a conventional uninterrupted dial surface.
