Citizen’s February 2026 Tsuyosa announcement covers two distinct developments: the first Tsuyosa collaboration with Paris-based creative seconde/seconde/ and four new Shore colourways. The separate Tsuyosa Small Second family uses calibre 8322 and a 60-hour power reserve, while the Shore watches use calibre 8210 and approximately 42 hours. They should be compared by reference, not simply by the Tsuyosa name.
What colours are the new Citizen Tsuyosa watches?
The four new Shore models are styled around the sea and shore. Citizen’s global announcement listed a February 2026 launch schedule and projected US prices; those figures are historical projections, not confirmation of current stock or pricing.

Citizen also cautions that availability and specifications can vary by market and that final designs or specifications may change.
Shore specifications
All four listed Shore references share the following published specifications:
#1 Best Overall
- The "Tsuyosa" Automatic, from the NJ015 series, brings ultramodern sports styling right to your wrist. Executed in a versatile 40mm footprint, the sophisticated design of the watch makes a strong impression via a silver-tone stainless steel case and a seamlessly integrated, matching bracelet.
- Underneath an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, the sporty timepiece makes use of a sunray black dial, with a 3 o’clock date window and contrasting silver-tone details adding to its classic aesthetic. Powered by an automatic movement and offering up to 50 meters of water resistance, the refined timepiece is a daily wearing choice ready for work, play, and everything in between. Caliber 8210.
- 3 Hand with Date, Automatic, 42 Hour Power Reserve
- Sapphire Crystal

The −20/+40-second accuracy figure is Citizen’s stationary-test specification; actual rate can vary with wear and other conditions. It is not a guarantee of daily performance on the wrist.
What is the Citizen Tsuyosa Small Second?
The Small Second is a separate Tsuyosa variant family, not another name for the Shore releases. Citizen’s Small Second collection uses calibre 8322 and a stated 60-hour power reserve. The official US product page for model NK5010-51X specifies a 40 mm stainless-steel watch with a small-seconds display at 6 o’clock, sapphire crystal, and 50 m water resistance.
Small Second strap compatibility
Citizen says proprietary interchangeable 22 mm straps are available for select Small Second models only: NK5010-51L, NK5010-51X, and NK5010-01H. That compatibility note does not establish that every 22 mm strap fits those watches, and it does not make the Shore references interchangeable with Small Second straps.

The seconde/seconde/ collaboration
Model NJ0157-81L is the first Tsuyosa collaboration with Paris-based creative identity seconde/seconde/. Citizen announced it as a worldwide limited edition of 3,600 pieces, with a planned February 2026 launch and projected US price of USD 475.
Design details
- The minute hand is reworked as a pixel-art katana.
- The hour indices are depicted as sliced.
- The case back carries a message from the artist.
- A limited-edition presentation box was designed by seconde/seconde/.
“As a creative always trying to fusion the opposites in order to create impactful contrast, it is such an exciting venture to collaborate with a brand like CITIZEN. Just a French guy on one side. And a huge and historical Japanese brand on the other. The best collaborations are usually those that bring together parties that initially seem to be at opposite ends of the spectrum.”

The Shore and collaboration prices above were Citizen’s projected US figures for a February 2026 release schedule. They should not be treated as present-day prices, universal prices, or proof that a particular reference is in stock. Citizen states that availability and product details may vary by market. Check the Citizen site or an authorised retailer in your country for the current price, release status, warranty terms, and final specifications.
Which reference should you compare?
- Choose a Shore reference if the sea-and-shore styling, rotating bezel, 10 BAR rating, and colour choices are the deciding factors.
- Choose a Small Second if the six-o’clock small-seconds layout and longer stated 60-hour reserve matter more than the Shore’s bezel and higher water-resistance rating.
- Choose NJ0157-81L if the limited-edition seconde/seconde/ artwork and 3,600-piece worldwide run are the priority; confirm regional availability because the launch schedule was announced for February 2026.
Published specifications do not establish comparative comfort, finishing quality, or on-wrist performance. Those questions require handling the exact reference.
