Tey Jing Wen, 33, pleaded guilty in Singapore on 8 October 2026 to five charges arising from the theft of a Patek Philippe watch and cash from Kim Lim’s company safe, unauthorized spending on a KL Health company card, and driving offences. Five other charges were taken into consideration. Sentencing was adjourned to 2 November 2026, so no final jail term or other sentence had been announced as of the latest reports.
What Kim Lim’s assistant admitted
Tey worked for KL Health, rising from HR assistant after joining in 2022 to HR manager and regional coordinator. After Lim’s personal assistant resigned in August 2024, Lim gave Tey the combination to the company safe. Lim later forgot the combination, leaving Tey as the only person able to open it, according to court reporting.

Reports say Tey admitted taking a Patek Philippe valued at S$73,000 and S$8,000 kept in red packets. The reported theft period ran from 1 November 2024 to 18 June 2025. Other property worth more than S$80,000 was also reported, but those items were not described as part of the five guilty pleas; additional allegations were taken into consideration.
In an October 2025 TikTok livestream discussed by CNA Lifestyle, Lim had estimated that the watch was worth about S$80,000 and that more than S$10,000 of her son’s red-packet money was missing. Later court reporting gave the figures of S$73,000 for the watch and S$8,000 for the cash.

Reports say Tey sold the watch for S$16,500 on 19 June 2025 while she was on bail. Police reporting said she used S$13,280 of that money to repay part of the unauthorized card spending. The reported resale amount is not the court’s stated value of the watch: the latest reports identify the Patek Philippe’s value as S$73,000.

Drink-driving and vehicle offences
The case also includes a 3 June 2025 traffic stop. Police reportedly stopped Tey after she drove against traffic in Lim’s car. Reports say she exceeded Singapore’s legal breath-alcohol limit, was driving without a licence and had no third-party insurance. These driving allegations formed part of the five charges to which she pleaded guilty, although the reports did not publish an official charge-sheet breakdown identifying each count by statutory section.

Tey entered guilty pleas to five charges on 8 October 2026. Five additional charges were reported as taken into consideration for sentencing. That distinction matters: a charge taken into consideration can affect the court’s assessment of the overall conduct, but it is not a separate conviction on the published account.

How Singapore’s criminal-breach-of-trust law fits
Singapore Penal Code section 405 defines criminal breach of trust as dishonest misappropriation or conversion of property entrusted to a person. Section 406 provides that the ordinary offence can carry up to seven years’ imprisonment, a fine, or both. That is the statutory maximum for the cited offence, not a prediction of Tey’s sentence and not confirmation that every count in this case falls under the ordinary provision. The eventual sentence will depend on the charges before the court, the admitted facts, any mitigation, repayment and other sentencing factors.

Lim discussed the allegations in a livestream with Xiaxue in October 2025. CNA Lifestyle quoted her saying: “I was too trusting as usual, right?” Her earlier public estimates of the watch and cash differ from the later figures in court reporting, so the latter should be used when describing the amounts established in the latest accounts.
