What’s in Orient’s 2026 Stretto launch?
The February 10 announcement groups ten watches into two formats. Orient describes the Date models as colorful, with a “pop & metallic” theme, while both groups sit within the brand’s Contemporary Collection and use modern, urban styling. The launch should be distinguished from Stretto additions announced later in 2026.

How do the Date and Day & Night models differ?
Stretto Date: a simpler display
The Date models focus on the time and calendar date, making their dial layout the more restrained choice. They are the natural place to start if you want the colorful Stretto styling without the extra indications of the Day & Night versions.

Day & Night models add indications and have a more visually elaborate layout. Compare the exact reference’s display and dial rather than assuming every model has identical dimensions or details: Orient’s product information is reference-specific.
What are the specifications of the RA-AC0R09L?

How should you compare the models?
- Choose by display: compare the Date’s date-focused layout with the additional indications on Day & Night models.
- Check each case size: 38.5 mm is the width of the RA-AC0R09L, not a confirmed size for every Stretto in the launch.
- Compare the exact dial and reference: color and layout vary across models; use the reference number when checking specifications or availability.
- Read the water-resistance rating narrowly: official pages list 5 bar for the cited models. That rating alone does not establish suitability for a particular swimming or diving activity.
- Check local terms: price, stock, warranty territory and available references can differ by market.

What do they cost, and when are they available?
Orient’s Japanese online store listed the RN-AC0R09L at ¥50,600 including tax when accessed on October 8, 2026. That is a Japan-specific listing and may change; it is not a price for every model or market. Check the Japanese store listing and your local retailer for current price and stock.
The named representative models have March 2026 launch dates on Orient’s product pages. Actual availability depends on market and reference, and the RA-AC0R09L is listed as limited to 2,300 pieces. Confirm current availability directly with Orient or a local authorized seller.
Later Stretto additions are separate from this launch
After the February ten-model announcement, Epson Japan announced three additional Stretto Date colors on July 28, 2026, for release August 20, and separately announced five smaller solar-powered Stretto watches for August 20.
