The Paulin × Hodinkee limited-edition watch is scheduled to launch on October 19, 2026. A first look and pre-order access are planned for the Windup Watch Fair in New York from October 16–18. The announcement confirms the partnership and dates, but not the watch’s name, movement, case, materials, production quantity, price or final online purchase page.
What has been announced
Hodinkee’s October 14, 2026 announcement describes a “playfully serious” limited-edition collaboration with Paulin. Its specific invitation reads: “Join us at the Windup Watch Fair in New York, October 16-18, for a first look at the collaboration and pre-order access before the watch launches on October 19th.”
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
That wording establishes two separate moments: an in-person preview and pre-order opportunity at the New York fair, followed by the stated launch date of October 19. It does not say whether the full collection will be available online immediately, whether quantities will be allocated to the fair, or which company will process orders.

What is still unknown
The announcement provides no technical specification sheet. The following details are therefore pending rather than features that can be inferred from earlier Paulin watches:
- Model name or reference
- Movement type, caliber, power reserve and winding system
- Case diameter, thickness, material, crystal and water resistance
- Dial, handset, strap or bracelet design
- Edition quantity and numbering
- Price, taxes, shipping and regional availability
- Official online ordering URL and delivery timetable
Previous Paulin products are useful context, but they are not evidence for the collaboration’s specifications. Buyers should wait for the official listing before treating any leaked dimensions, movement claims or prices as genuine.

Why Paulin is the relevant design story
An interview with AnOrdain founder Lewis Heath says AnOrdain fully acquired Paulin Watches in 2023. Heath describes Paulin as an affordable sister brand focused on accessibility and personality: “Paulin is all about accessibility.” He also says the goal is to make watches with character rather than the sterile, mass-produced feel often found at the lower end of the market.
That identity has included work with Glasgow artists. The interview cites John Nicol, whose Paulin dials were hand-painted and individually unique. This history supports an expectation of independent Scottish design and artist-led production as useful context for the collaboration, but it does not confirm that the Hodinkee edition uses hand-painted dials or any particular artist.

- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)
- Double Up on Efficiency: The two USB-A 3.0 ports and a USB-C port support a fast 5Gbps data rate, significantly boosting your transfer speeds and improving productivity.
- Fast and Reliable 85W Charging: Offers high-capacity, speedy charging for laptops up to 85W, so you spend less time tethered to an outlet and more time being productive.

How existing Modul watches fit into the comparison
Hodinkee’s 2024 microbrand coverage identifies Paulin’s Modul as an existing collection with both quartz and manual-wind variants. It reports a 35 mm cushion-shaped case measuring 8.2 mm thick, with examples priced at $507 for quartz and $1,114 for manual-wind models at that time. Those are earlier Modul figures, not the forthcoming Hodinkee watch’s specifications or price.
| Buying-guide category | Paulin × Hodinkee status | What is known from earlier Modul coverage |
|---|---|---|
| Launch access | Windup New York preview and pre-order, October 16–18; launch October 19 | Not applicable |
| Price | Pending | $507 quartz and $1,114 manual-wind examples reported in 2024 |
| Edition size | Pending | Not stated for the collaboration |
| Movement | Pending | Modul has quartz and manual-wind variants |
| Case and dial | Pending | Modul example: 35 mm diameter, 8.2 mm thick, cushion-shaped |
| Craft and production | Pending | Paulin has worked with Glasgow artists, including hand-painted dials by John Nicol |
| Availability | Fair pre-order route announced; online route pending | Existing Modul availability is separate |
The table’s older prices should not be used as a proxy for the collaboration. A special case, movement, dial treatment, smaller run or different distribution model could place the new watch above or below those figures.

What prospective buyers should verify before ordering
- Confirm the official product page. Check that the page is published by Paulin, Hodinkee or a clearly identified authorized retailer.
- Read the specification sheet. Verify caliber, case measurements, materials, crystal, water resistance, strap, warranty and service arrangements.
- Check the limitation language. Look for a total edition number, numbering format and whether the run is shared between fair pre-orders and later online sales.
- Review the price in your region. Confirm currency, sales tax, duties, shipping charges and the deposit or payment schedule for any pre-order.
- Save the order terms. Keep the stated delivery window, cancellation rules and customer-support contact in case production timing changes.
Will it be available online?
Online availability is not established by the announcement. It specifically promises pre-order access at the Windup Watch Fair and says the watch launches on October 19, but gives no web address or online ordering instructions. A later official product page is needed to confirm whether October 19 means a web release, a broader retail launch, or both.
Bottom line for 2026 buyers
This is a confirmed Paulin–Hodinkee limited-edition project with a New York preview and pre-order window on October 16–18, 2026, followed by an announced October 19 launch. Everything that determines the buying decision—movement, dimensions, materials, edition size, price and online purchasing—remains pending. The most reliable next step is to use the Windup preview or wait for the official product page rather than extrapolating from Paulin’s earlier Modul models.
