Pebble’s smartwatch revival is real, but “shipping soon” is no longer the current story. That phrase referred to the October 2025 launch of the Pebble 2 Duo. As of the latest August 2026 store snapshot, the Pebble 2 Duo is sold out, the Pebble Time 2 is in stock, and new Pebble Round 2 orders are scheduled to ship in September.
The revived Pebble Appstore is also active again, supporting new watches as well as surviving original Pebble models. But its large catalog is a mixture of legacy software, community projects, and newer apps—not a guarantee that every listing remains fully functional.

What “shipping soon” originally meant
On October 13, 2025, Core Devices said the first revived watch, then called the Pebble 2 Duo, was approaching customer shipment. Almost 3,000 white units had reportedly been manufactured and were moving to fulfillment, while black units faced a delay caused by a holiday-related manufacturing disruption.
That announcement described manufacturing and dispatch plans, not a guarantee that every customer would receive a watch immediately. It also combined two separate developments: revived Pebble hardware and the return of the Pebble Appstore. The store’s relaunch was important for existing owners, but it was a restoration and modernization of Pebble’s software catalog—not an entirely new ecosystem built from scratch.

Which Pebble watches are available now?
The following is a dated snapshot from August 16, 2026. Prices and shipping estimates can change quickly, particularly because Core Devices is a small manufacturer.
| Model | Price | Status | Key features |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pebble 2 Duo | $149 | Sold out | Monochrome e-paper display, barometer, compass, polycarbonate case |
| Pebble Time 2 | $225 | In stock; store says it ships within 48 hours | 1.5-inch color e-paper display, stainless steel, touchscreen, heart-rate monitor |
| Pebble Round 2 | $199 | New orders ship in September | Round 1.3-inch color e-paper display, stainless steel, approximately 8.1 mm thick |
“Ships within 48 hours” means dispatch, not delivery within two days. International courier transit, customs processing, and local delivery add time. The official watch page is the operative source for current inventory.
Pebble Time 2: the practical immediate-buy option
The Pebble Time 2 is the clearest choice for someone who wants a new Pebble now and prefers a color display. It has a 1.5-inch, 64-color e-paper screen, a stainless-steel frame, touchscreen controls, and a heart-rate monitor. The official store lists four color options and a $225 price.
Core Devices reports approximately 21 days of median battery life. That is a company-reported figure rather than an independent test, and actual results depend on backlight use, animated watchfaces, and health tracking.

- STYLISH DESIGN, BRIGHT DISPLAY: The sleek stainless steel build blends classic style with workout durability, while the bright 1.32" AMOLED display keeps your data easy to read, even under bright sunlight.
- PRECISE HEART RATE AND SLEEP TRACKING: Amazfit's BioTracker technology tracks your heart rate and sleep data with accuracy that previous sensors just can't match.
- UP TO 10 DAYS OF BATTERY LIFE: With long battery life that lasts up to 10 days with typical use, nightly recharges are a thing of the past.
- FREE MAPS WITH TURN DIRECTIONS: Stay on-track with free downloadable maps, and get turn-by-turn guidance on-screen or via your Bluetooth headphones. Enjoy ski maps for global resorts, including guidance for cable cars, slopes, and more.
- FASTER AND MORE ACCURATE GPS TRACKING: 5 satellite positioning systems ensure fast GPS connection and accurate positioning whenever you're out running, walking, cycling or hiking.
Time 2 is also expected to carry a manufacturer-rated 30-meter/3ATM water-resistance rating. That is intended to cover activities such as swimming, but it is not a dive-watch rating. Core Devices advises against hot tubs, saunas, and high-pressure water.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsPebble Round 2: the dressier design
The Round 2 targets buyers who want Pebble’s software and battery philosophy in a more conventional watch shape. It uses a stainless-steel case, a 1.3-inch 64-color e-paper display, a touchscreen, and a case approximately 8.1 mm thick. There are four hardware variants based on color and 14 mm or 20 mm band size.
The launch announcement described approximately two weeks of battery life and originally expected shipping in May. That estimate has been superseded: the current store page says new orders ship in September. Round 2 therefore suits buyers who prioritize thinness and appearance over immediate delivery or the largest available screen.
Its launch price is $199. Check the store before ordering because both stock and fulfillment dates are subject to change.
Pebble 2 Duo: the simplest Pebble experience
The Pebble 2 Duo is the closest match for people who want the classic low-distraction Pebble concept: a 1.2-inch black-and-white e-paper display, physical controls, a polycarbonate case, a barometer, and a compass. It was listed at $149 but is sold out in the latest official store snapshot.
Core Devices says software optimization improved the model’s median battery life from 17 days to more than 30 days. That is a manufacturer claim, not an independently verified universal result. Buyers who specifically want the monochrome design will need to wait for restocking or consider a legitimate existing Pebble, while recognizing the additional battery and hardware risks of older devices.

- 24/7 HEALTH MONITORING: The Amazfit Bip 6 smartwatch provides precise, real-time monitoring of heart rate, sleep, blood-oxygen and stress, empowering you with actionable insights to optimize your health and fitness.
What the relaunched Pebble Appstore actually offers
The Pebble Appstore hosts watchfaces and watchapps through the web, and the newer Pebble mobile app brings discovery and installation into the phone experience. The official store describes the catalog as containing more than 10,000 watchfaces and apps. In July 2026, Core Devices said developers had created 2,120 apps and watchfaces specifically for Time 2 and Round 2.
The catalog supports new watches and surviving original models. The official iPhone listing says the Pebble Core app supports:
- Pebble
- Pebble Steel
- Pebble Time
- Pebble Time Steel
- Pebble Time Round
- Pebble 2
- Pebble 2 Duo
- Pebble Time 2
The app also provides Bluetooth pairing and reconnection, watchface and app browsing, firmware updates, notifications, health-data synchronization, and developer tools. The cited compatibility listing is specifically for iPhone; Android users should check the current Android app and documentation rather than assume identical feature parity.
Much of the attraction is that Pebble has preserved a large historical library. That is also its main caveat. A listing may depend on a discontinued weather service, an old companion app, or a settings page that no longer works. Core Devices has added filters for older software with broken settings pages or companion apps and has worked around obsolete weather APIs using Open-Meteo in its mobile app. Still, catalog presence does not equal active maintenance.
Developers can import or update applications, and Android companion apps are being migrated to PebbleKit 2.0. PebbleOS and much of the mobile software stack are open source, which helps the community repair and extend the platform, but does not provide a guarantee of long-term support for every individual app.
See the Pebble Core iPhone listing.
What Pebble does well
- Battery life: weeks rather than daily charging, based on model and usage.
- Readable displays: reflective e-paper remains visible without the same power demands as a conventional bright smartwatch panel.
- Physical buttons: useful for quick navigation and for people who dislike touch-only controls.
- Low-distraction notifications: Pebble emphasizes glanceable information instead of trying to replicate a phone on the wrist.
- Customization: the restored Appstore provides a large library of watchfaces and watchapps.
- Community access: open-source software and developer tools give the platform more flexibility than a completely closed legacy product.
What Pebble does not replace
Pebble is not positioned as a full fitness or sports watch. Its health features are comparatively basic, and it should not be bought for medical-grade monitoring, advanced running or cycling analytics, recovery scores, or serious training tools.

It also lacks the broader capabilities many buyers associate with mainstream smartwatches: independent cellular operation, a large guaranteed third-party ecosystem, and the mature health and voice-assistant platforms offered by major manufacturers. Notification replies are not a universally available feature. Core Devices says work toward Apple AccessorySetupKit integration is connected to future notification replies in the EU, but that migration remains technically difficult and ongoing.

Shipping, taxes, and warranty details
The official store prices watches in U.S. dollars. International orders ship from an Asian warehouse using tracked courier service. The store says non-U.S. orders are not subject to U.S. tariffs, although the buyer’s country may impose taxes, customs fees, or duties. Shipments are sent DDP, meaning the seller’s process prepays applicable taxes, tariffs, and duties; U.S. customers may still be charged a tariff of approximately $10 per watch, subject to change. Buyers are contacted before shipment to confirm their address and handle any required payment.
The published formal warranty covers manufacturing defects for 30 days after receipt. A defective watch must be returned before a replacement is shipped. That is separate from Core Devices’ reported July 2026 support practice of replacing some Time 2 units with hardware faults, including worldwide shipping, regardless of warranty status. The latter is a reported goodwill policy, not the same as the published warranty and should not be treated as guaranteed.
Which Pebble should you buy?
Choose Pebble Time 2 if you want:
- The largest screen among the current watches.
- A color display and heart-rate monitor.
- To order immediately rather than wait for a preorder estimate.
- Physical buttons and long battery life instead of advanced health analytics.
Choose Pebble Round 2 if you want:
- A thin, round, stainless-steel design.
- A dressier watch that does not look like a conventional square fitness tracker.
- Approximately two weeks of battery life.
- To wait for the current September shipping estimate.
Consider Pebble 2 Duo only if you want:
- The monochrome Pebble experience.
- A barometer and compass in a simple polycarbonate watch.
- To wait for a restock or find legitimate existing inventory.
Existing Pebble owners may not need new hardware at all. If the main goal is restored app and phone support, a compatible older watch can be the most economical route, although its aging battery and hardware are greater risks. Conversely, buyers who need advanced fitness metrics, cellular connectivity, or a more predictable support structure should look at mainstream Apple, Garmin, or Android-compatible watches instead.
Verdict
Pebble’s comeback has progressed from an announcement into a real, functioning hardware-and-software ecosystem. The Appstore is back, old watches are supported, and new models are shipping in staggered batches. The important qualification is that Pebble remains a small enthusiast platform: inventory moves, delivery estimates can change, the formal warranty is short, and the legacy catalog contains software of uneven reliability.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →For most new buyers, the Pebble Time 2 is the most practical current purchase because it is listed in stock and combines the largest display with color and heart-rate sensing. The Round 2 is the better design choice if waiting until September is acceptable, while the Pebble 2 Duo is appealing mainly to monochrome Pebble loyalists who can wait for availability.
