Why do reviews list a different movement?
Fratello and Revolution described earlier Nera configurations with an ETA 2824-2 automatic movement. Fratello’s April 2020 review also gives dimensions for the watch it handled. These accounts and the current Peren page should not be blended into one specification set: the sources document different dates or configurations, and do not establish exactly when or why the movement changed.

If you are assessing a particular Nera for purchase, check the movement and dimensions for that exact watch rather than assuming that every version matches either the 2020 review or the current product listing.

What did the hands-on reviewers think?
Fratello’s Rob Nudds praised the teal dial and the watch’s distinctiveness, but criticized the paint finish on the hands when viewed under magnification. He also found the supplied strap thick at first; he reported that it softened after several days of wear. Those are his observations about the reviewed example, not a consensus or a fresh test of a current unit. He considered the case and finishing good value at the prices quoted in his article.
Revolution’s reviewer described the production watch as substantial and well made when handled. That is also a report about the reviewer’s own experience, not a guarantee of how every unit will feel.
