One important buying detail: an earlier Valour Field 38 review covered a different, no-date NH38A version, so its specifications should not be applied to the current remaster.
What is the RZE Valour Field 38?
The Valour Field 38 is RZE’s titanium take on a compact field watch. The current remastered model pairs a printed matte dial and luminous markers with a date complication, an automatic movement and a supplied FKM rubber strap. RZE describes the case as Grade 2 titanium with its UltraHex coating; the coating hardness and scratch-resistance comparisons on the product page are manufacturer claims, not independently verified test results.
This is a specification-based buying guide, not a report of independent wrist testing. Claims about actual comfort, timekeeping accuracy, lume duration, scratch resistance in use or performance in water require evidence beyond the manufacturer’s listed specifications.

How big does the RZE Valour 38 wear?
RZE lists a 38 mm case diameter, 45 mm lug-to-lug and 20 mm lug width. The 45 mm length is a useful fit reference for shoppers concerned about how far a watch’s lugs extend across the wrist. Diameter alone does not determine fit, and no independent wrist-fit measurements are available here.

There is an unresolved discrepancy in RZE’s published figures. Its specification page lists 11.5 mm thickness and 57 g in one block, while the Carbon Black product listing gives 11 mm and 60 g with the rubber strap. These are conflicting figures from RZE pages, so neither should be treated as a confirmed definitive measurement until the brand clarifies them.
Movement, materials and listed specifications
RZE’s current specification page gives the remastered Valour 38 an SII NH35A automatic movement. It lists a solid Grade 2 titanium case with UltraHex coating, a screw-down titanium crown and caseback, and a Viton gasket. The model has a date display; do not confuse it with the earlier no-date NH38A watch.

These are manufacturer specifications, not independently tested measurements. The water-resistance rating and screw-down construction do not, by themselves, establish suitability for any particular water activity; follow RZE’s guidance for use and care.
What strap fits the RZE Valour 38?
The listed 20 mm lug width makes 20 mm straps the starting point when shopping for alternatives. RZE’s remaster announcement says its straight-end 20 mm titanium bracelet is compatible with the Valour 38, and the current watch is listed with the HexaFlex FKM rubber strap. Check the selected strap’s spring bars, end-link shape and connection before ordering: a nominally correct width does not guarantee fit for every third-party strap or every Valour generation.

The most useful fit figures are the 38 mm diameter and 45 mm lug-to-lug; the conflicting published thickness and weight figures make an in-person check or clarification from RZE especially helpful if those measurements are decisive for you.
