RzR Watches’ documented debut is the Tecorón, an automatic watch built around a distinctive claim: more than 80% of the watch is carbon fiber, including its case, case back, bracelet and clasp. RzR lists a 44 g weight with the carbon-fiber bracelet, a Miyota 90S5 movement and sapphire crystals on both sides. Those are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent test results. Current price, availability and service support are not established by the available sources, so treat this as a review of the watch’s documented design and specs—not confirmation that you can buy one today.
What is an RzR watch?
RzR is a watch brand whose first documented timepiece is the Tecorón. Its official product page lists two variants: “Horis Magnas” and “Lines.” The company presents the watch as an expression of its interest in mechanical objects, design and high-tech materials. Its founder, Ricardo Zamora Rojas, studied mechanical engineering and later worked on watch design in London, according to the company’s own account. RzR’s story is useful background, but it is company-authored rather than independent reporting.

Independent watch publication Fratello introduced the Tecorón as RzR’s debut wristwatch in November 2019. Its launch coverage discussed a planned Kickstarter campaign; that history establishes the context in which the watch was announced, not its present-day sales status. Fratello’s 2019 introduction is a contemporaneous account of the launch.
What makes the Tecorón distinctive?
Carbon-fiber construction
RzR says more than 80% of the Tecorón is made of carbon fiber and identifies the case, case back, bracelet and clasp as carbon fiber. That unusual material choice is the watch’s clearest point of differentiation. The percentage and construction description are the manufacturer’s claims; the reviewed sources do not provide an independent material audit or quantified durability testing.

Dimensions and stated weight
The official specifications give dimensions of 42.9 × 49 × 10.6 mm. RzR says the shaped case looks visually closer to a 41.5 mm case. That comparison is the maker’s description, not a substitute for trying the watch on: the 49 mm length, case shape and wrist size can all affect how it wears.
RzR lists the watch at 44 g with its carbon-fiber bracelet and 40 g with a leather strap. The bracelet figure is specified for a 17 mm wrist and 18 links, so it should not be treated as a universal weight for every bracelet adjustment. These are manufacturer-published figures rather than independently measured weights. RzR’s Tecorón specifications provide the dimensions and weight details.
What movement and crystals does it use?
RzR specifies a Miyota 90S5 automatic and manual-winding movement, with 24 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 beats per hour and a stated 42-hour power reserve. The movement can be wound by wrist motion or by hand. The product page also lists sapphire crystals at the front and on the exhibition case back.
These are published specifications, not independent findings about the Tecorón’s accuracy, durability or real-world reserve. The reviewed sources do not report quantified testing of those qualities.
How do the variants and fit affect the decision?
The official page names “Horis Magnas” and “Lines” as Tecorón variants. Before choosing one, confirm which variant is actually being offered and inspect its current dial and strap configuration; the available evidence does not establish that both variants are in stock now.
RzR lists a 22 mm bracelet width and shows a leather-strap configuration, but width alone does not establish that generic straps will fit. Case-end geometry, attachment details and any proprietary components matter. Ask RzR which replacement strap or bracelet is confirmed for the exact variant, and whether the company can supply parts.
Is the RzR Tecorón still available, and what does it cost?
The reviewed sources do not establish current availability, an authorized seller or a present-day price. RzR’s homepage has prominently promoted a Kickstarter campaign, but that page content does not prove that a campaign is active or that the Tecorón is currently for sale. Verify the sales channel and stock directly with the brand before making a purchase decision. RzR’s homepage is the brand’s direct starting point.
Fratello reported launch-era planned Kickstarter prices of €828 for the first 12 backers, €899 for the next 24 and €960 for subsequent backers, followed by a planned €1,200 retail price. These were historical figures published in 2019, not current quotes or evidence of current stock. Fratello’s launch coverage gives the original pricing context.

Because the available product details do not answer several practical ownership questions, contact RzR or the seller and get clear answers for your location and the exact watch being offered:
- Whether the Tecorón is currently sold new, and whether the seller is official or authorized.
- The current price and currency, including any difference between “Horis Magnas” and “Lines” or between bracelet and strap configurations.
- Whether the watch is new, complete and the exact variant described in the listing.
- Whether RzR can supply replacement parts and which bracelet or strap is confirmed to fit.
- What service options apply in your country and whether the seller can arrange them.
The indexed text of RzR’s warranty page describes a two-year international warranty for manufacturing defects from receipt, subject to the original official-site invoice and owner’s manual, with exclusions including accidents, misuse, unauthorized repairs and normal wear. The page could not be directly verified, so confirm the live terms with RzR before relying on them. RzR’s warranty page is the place to check for current terms.
Who might consider the Tecorón?
The Tecorón may appeal to someone who wants an unconventional carbon-fiber watch and values a notably low manufacturer-stated weight, while also preferring a mechanical movement and sapphire crystals on both sides. The trade-off is that the available evidence does not establish current availability, present-day value, independently tested performance or a dependable route to parts and service. Those unresolved ownership details matter as much as the unusual material if you are deciding whether to buy.
