Seiko presents them as Special Edition watches inspired by its “Checker Flag” design; “Rally Diver” is a popular enthusiast descriptor, not a confirmed official collection name. Their launch date and current production or stock status are not established by the available sources, so “new” should not be read as a claim that they are newly launched or currently available.
What’s the difference between the SRPK65 and SRPK67?
| Model | Dial | Bezel |
|---|---|---|
| SRPK65 | Blue with a sunray finish | Blue-and-white checkered, unidirectional rotating |
| SRPK67 | Black-and-white checkered styling | Black-and-white checkered, unidirectional rotating |
Both are described with day/date displays and luminous hands and markers. Seiko’s SRPK65 page also describes a red-orange seconds hand. The supplied specifications and reporting do not establish a movement or case-dimension difference between the variants, so the main confirmed distinction is their appearance. Why are they called Rally Divers?
Seiko’s product pages foreground the “Checker Flag” design and identify the watches as Seiko 5 Sports Special Editions. Watch coverage and enthusiasts commonly call this style a Rally Diver, linking the checkerboard motif to that vintage-inspired category. Treat Rally Diver as a descriptive nickname rather than a formal Seiko collection designation.
Seiko says the SRPK65’s color scheme and bezel pattern draw from the “Checker Flag,” which it describes as a popular design of the era. Seiko Mexico describes the pair as inspired by vintage Seiko 5 Sports models from the 1960s and 1970s. Separately, Seiko’s June 8, 2023 announcement discusses the Seiko 5 Sports line’s 55th anniversary and other watches drawing on the collection’s late-1960s history; it does not announce these two references. How big is the Seiko SRPK65?
Seiko USA lists the SRPK65 at 42.5 mm in diameter, 13.4 mm thick and 46 mm from lug to lug, with a 22 mm lug width. The 46 mm length is useful to consider alongside diameter when judging how the watch may sit on a wrist. Seiko specifies a curved Hardlex crystal and stainless-steel bracelet. Fratello reports the same case dimensions for both models, but the detailed official specifications cited here are for the SRPK65. Seiko USA’s SRPK65 page; Fratello’s model report.
What movement do the SRPK65 and SRPK67 use?
The SRPK65’s official specifications list Seiko’s 4R36 automatic movement, with manual winding, 24 jewels, a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and an approximately 41-hour power reserve. The movement provides the day/date function. Fratello reports the same caliber for both references. These are product specifications, not a promise of a particular real-world running time or accuracy. Seiko USA’s specifications; Fratello’s report.

- CRYSTAL – Curved Hardlex crystal.

Are the SRPK65 and SRPK67 100m water resistant?
Yes. Seiko lists the SRPK65 at 10 bar, or 100 m, and Fratello reports the same 10 ATM/100 m rating for both models. That rating and a rotating timing bezel alone do not establish compliance with a named dive-watch standard. Choose and use a watch according to its manufacturer’s guidance and the activity involved; do not infer professional dive-watch status from the Rally Diver nickname. Prices vary by market and date. Seiko USA displayed $375 for the SRPK65 when the page was retrieved. Fratello reported launch prices of €350 and £310 for the two watches in its stated European markets. Those figures are not interchangeable global prices, and the available sources do not establish a current SRPK67 US price. Seiko USA’s retrieved SRPK65 page showed “Notify me when in stock,” which does not by itself prove the model is discontinued or broadly unavailable. Check a local Seiko retailer for current price and stock. Seiko USA’s SRPK65 listing; Fratello’s launch-price report.
