Yes. You can replace a Tudor Pelagos FXD strap, but the FXD’s bars are fixed into the case, so a replacement must thread through them. A conventional two-piece strap that relies on removable spring bars is not a direct fit. For an aftermarket option, start with a 22 mm pass-through strap and check its thickness and the exact watch reference before ordering.
Why the FXD needs a pass-through strap
Tudor describes the FXD’s strap bars as directly machined into the 42 mm titanium case. Because they are fixed rather than removable spring bars, you cannot attach a standard two-piece strap in the usual way. The replacement needs to pass through the bars, as a single-pass or NATO-style strap does. Tudor’s FXD model description explains the fixed-bar construction.

What size strap fits?
Tudor lists 22 mm strap or lug width for the cited FXD references: M25717N-0001 and M25707B-0001. The 2023 product PDF for reference 25717N also specifies a 22 mm fabric strap. How to check fit before buying
- Identify the reference. Check the model reference on your paperwork or with a Tudor retailer. Strap offerings differ between references, so do not assume another FXD’s supplied strap is identical.
- Confirm attachment style. Look for a strap designed to thread through fixed bars. A listing that only says “22 mm” is not enough; avoid ordinary two-piece straps that depend on removable spring bars.
- Check width and thickness. For the cited references, use 22 mm as the width starting point. Ask the seller whether the strap’s thickness and construction can pass through the FXD bars without forcing or binding.
- Verify the fastener and material. Check that the closure and strap material suit how you intend to wear the watch, and that the listing describes the correct configuration rather than relying on a generic size label.
- For an OEM strap, ask about ordering. Tudor’s product listings describe straps supplied with particular models, but do not establish current replacement-part stock or price.
Which option should you choose?
If you want the original configuration, ask a Tudor retailer about a strap for your exact reference. If you want an aftermarket strap, look for a 22 mm pass-through design explicitly confirmed for fixed bars. In either case, attachment construction matters as much as nominal width: the strap must thread through the bars and fit their clearance.
